10 armor gives 37,5% damage reduction, -10 armor gives 46,1% damage increase. Considering these values are correct, If the enemy has 10 armor and gets it reduced to 0, he will take 60% more damage from attacks. If he has 0 armor and gets it reduced to -10, he will take 46,1% more damage from attacks. So armor reduction gets stronger as the armor increases. | ||

negative armor scaling below 0 is quite good for a bit, for example, -10 armor is around +45% physical dmg, but it dramatically loses power past that whereby even -20 armor is only around +70% physical dmg, so in that day its less useful than if they have positive armor in practice ex. if you have -10 armor, against somebody with 10 armor, you'll do 1/(.625) dmg = 60% more dmg to them than if you didn't have reduction, which is better than negative armor scaling compared to if they had 0 armor also, its pretty accepted in most situations that going 1-1-1, and maxing refraction is the best way to go, then it probably depends on team composition and dps environment as to whether to max meld or blades first after that | ||
