Right, asked on the Dota2 dev forums but I doubt anyone is going to answer, so
Does anyone know how to filter by hero name (watch tab > recent games) for heroes that have a space in it, like Bounty Hunter, Skeleton King, etc
All the single word heroes like Invoker, Puck and Windrunner filter correctly, but I can't get games for Bounty Hunter, "Bounty Hunter", bountyhunter... I even tried Gondar, but no go.

"Bounty Hunter" works for me. Edit: Without including the quotation marks in the search string. Edit 2: Works with quotation marks as well.

Doesn't work for me - when I try to filter by my player name (STANCEL♥) and the hero name (Bounty Hunter), it shows all my past games, and I only want my past games as BH.

He seems to have a ton of team fight damage with his Q and E. The big problem is that he needs to be in the middle of the fight spamming Q and surviving for a long time and he is kind of squishy. What are your opinions for core items on him? Here are my thought. Treads/mana boots (not sure which works better, imo treads with efficient swapping is better). Ring of aquila, wand, mek. It seems like he still has mana problems, even with efficient tread swapping.
My other thought was treads, perserverance, wand, mek, finish linkens.
After completing the core then going straight +damage should be great. Why would you buy Mek on him if he has mana problems? You generally try to put Mek on a hero with smooth enough mana management to support using Mek in a teamfight alongside their other abilities. Linken's is also somewhat ill-suited for him. Gyro has an absolutely fantastic ganking skillset--and you buy a farming item? You want to gear his itemization toward his fantastic early-game ganking and midgame teamfighting. If you get to farm a lane, you want to try and push out Aghanim's to establish your global presence. If you're playing as more of a roaming ganker, or don't get enough farm to get Aghanim's out that fast, then Urn augments your early ganking ability, and Ghost Scepter and Janggo are great for boosting your midgame teamfighting power.
I guess I was looking at him as more of a carry not a ganker. Shit, going drums+force would be pretty awesome. Mek is great for ranged carries to increase survivability. But yea, boots, drums, force is probably a better core. Set up the missile from smoke, force staff in, hit Q, collect kill.

well, how does valve wana invite coL EG if they could just get both Mouz and VP.... this is sad that teams at this level are being ranked equally in competing for spots in TI2 with some Pinoy teams who dont even play dota2 to begin with.

I don't know if that's fair to valve or coL/EG. Hindsight is 20/20. VP before this week is a train wreck of a team which had terrible records and even lost to some amateurish team. Same thing with mouz who only got good again after black and cwm joined recently

Same thing with mouz who only got good again after black and cwm joined recently that is another point i wanted to bring up. Tbh, when i make my prediction post, i looked through most big teams past record. VP is a VERY special case. The team is MADE for TI2. It has some best player in term of individual skill in EU scene and they are mostly have somewhat if not veteran experience in the competitive esports scene. If a team is really aiming for a major LAN event, they will not simply show their strats in the relatively small tournaments happen close to the major event. This applied to M5 and Navi in most of the LAN they attend and VP is simply taking a page out of this book. Look at them picking dazzle/Krob in the final decisive game, Quantic is first picking their Morph. Mean while, teams like mTw and mouz are simply careless about these type of things. They are sticking with their usual strats (hyper aggressive with mtw, leshrac+sk/sd with mouz) and being countered quite hard in the current competition from the very first phase of ban/pick.
There are simply MANY element outside of the game that a lot of people never think of and use them to their advantage. Looking back into ESports history, iloveoov simply use countless of his interviews to play mind games with his competitors, Nestea never play to his fullest on ladder then to dominate sc[fOu] later on in the epic ZvT series, Puppey played mind game with M5 using tobiwan live stream which force M5 to waste a ban on sylla in the final game of starladder LAN. These stuff need to be considerate in the process of team selection in the future. The current way of judging is quite inefficient and isnt aiming for top high level play but more for marketing strategy.
There are couple of ways to fix this but the best they could have done is to delay their invitation decision until some recent major LAN actually show teams result. By this i mean Dreamhack for western scene and The Defense 2 for eastern as qualifier entry level. And they needed to announce that they will count these result before hand so teams could show their best performance.

Wow odd bug with gyro. Buying back fast after dying returns you to where you died instantly.

Vp and mouz aren't better than col and eg. And when they would have waited for a lan event, it would have been unlikely that any asian team get a visa.

I have to say that I haven't been as hyped about watching esports as I was during the mouz vs VP games since the days I was the most into BW nearly half a decade ago. I can't remember the last time I had to stand up to watch fights because the excitement started to be too much.
I want big live events with big audiences and SC2 style production so much.
