They fit the carry role the same way, but gyro is a lot more unsafe, but with better initiation I guess. | ||

That's why the bots are saying "doing roshan" but never actually are useful doing it, they just flee very very slowly blocked in this pattern. They implement a lot of complicated things for the bots but they still don't have a decent basic behavior. | ||

Except Gyro isn't played as a 1st position ranged physical carry. Well, he can be, but that's arguably not the best way to play him (1 point rocket+missile, max flak and stats). Playing him as a 3rd position caster semicarry (with Aghanim's for global supporting power), or as a 4th position roaming ganker (with Urn and other supportive items) make better use of the strength of his rocket and missile, maxing them first. Quite frankly I don't know why you'd assume that a hero with such a strong ganking kit (long range stun, long range slow, high burst damage) should be compared to Corki, a physical damage lategame carry, who has comparatively little ganking ability. | ||
