MMR is junk. You can be on a 15 game losing streak and still be getting better at the game. Sometimes you learn the most form the games you lose. And some games you win by trying to make shit happen. And sometimes you get carried and don't really feel like you deserved that win, but whatever. The key is to never focus on your teammates and only focus on yourself and how your playing.

Losing sucks, but it doesn't mean it has to be no fun. Sure, I blame and rage with the rest of them, but I don't let losses bother me. I've accepted the fact that there is only so good I am going to get at dota and if I climb 500 MMR, thats pretty great. Other than that, its still fucking dota, the same game you were playing before MMR was public.

I do feel that MMR can be a good indicator of whether or not you're improving but it's been topic that's been discussed to death.
