I do not see why you'd get SnY even if there is burst on the opponents team, it's really really really really cost-inefficient for hp and damage :/
Just buying a vit booster is less than half the prize and almost the same HP. A vit booster + ogre club is cheaper AND gives more health.

Unless you are 100% sure you'll disassemble for manta+heaven's halberd, maybe.

as a player comes from the sny era, i dont see sny as a horrible item. it is related to my farming rhythm, the item components, and playstyle - if you look at that game, you will see that the oppo team has some crazy combo and they got their daggers, i cant remember the details very well but they lost mainly because they couldnt kill me quick enough from team battle/ganking me.

orge axe 1000g+450+700 is more efficient money spending than going for the one go 2100g of ultimate orb, at times. but i dont see going manta/sny is a game deciding factor, if i got 2100g quick enough obviously there is no harm to get manta. i like to play practically and dislike letting my team keep doing 4v5 battle with me farming and sf is not a hard carry by all means. and maybe i didnt want more illu in battle because they have es. is a pub game and i like to do my oldschool pub build at times XD

But, my point is.
SnY does not add good damage and it doesn't give good HP:cost gain, it's so inefficient.
But if it works for you, that's cool.

8 gauntlets gives the same amount of hp too, item slots man
sny isn't that bad of an item on sf, it's just that manta is better most of the time
also there was never an sny era

then you are talking about the cost inefficiency of sange, lets just say there isnt much 2k gold item that gives me that hp/str boost and sny only requires one slot. jango is useless late game and why would i get hp booster for sf?

and there was when everyone builds every hero with a sny era. maim was the best entry level orb back then.

bkb is better for survivability anyway
sny isn't super good or something but it's workable most of the time

and yea i guess there was an sny era if ur talking about pub bnet games years ago lol
even back then it was considered a trash item because it was an orb, it was super expensive, and it was weaker overall
