If he mid lanes you have to commit a lot of ganks to try deal with him because no one can really handle him 1v1. If he doesn't he still offlanes really well. Then he has amazing chase in a ganking lineup with tornado+speed+coldsnap. In a team fight he's amazing since he has space control, disable and more disable. Great initiation, great survivability , great disable, great damage output. At the end of the day I just don't see how you deal with him. You can deal with AM NS furion, but how do you deal with invoker? EDIT: In fact dignitas banned Chen and Darkseer. | ||

oh and I do think invoker is silly. IMO increase the bans to 5 rather than nerfing him right now. | ||

The problem with silencer is his lack of escape. If he gets caught slightly out of position, he's dead for sure. and @cilinder: There ARE ways to deal with AM, some teams even prefer to just let their opponent pick AM and destroy the rest of their team because he's such a late game hero. I forgot who played it, but there was a Furion + Riki team really recently that worked perfectly in shutting down AM early game. | ||

Cant recall if it was in the premier league or one of the defense matches. Basically riki + Smoke + diffusal slow = dead AM. The furion TP in to turn it into a 2 on 1 was just the nail in the coffin. Nerf Invoker? Its a hero that is as good as the player behind it. I think that the most impressive invoker play I've seen so far was from Bulba from Its Gosu. His invoker was just jaw dropping. | ||

While invoker is highly skill dependant, he is too powerful at all levels of play. Low level players can just spam tornado EMP for the the entire game, mid level players can spam that until they get ags, when they switch to spamming everything, and pro players completely dominate the game and cause him to be banned every game (nearly). | ||

Denying friendly heroes? Yes please. I just imagine lots of incidental rage when sleeping an enemy, and a teammate hitting him and getting sleeped himself =/ | ||
