They reshuffled quite a while after TI2 when they were slumping pretty hard didn't they? And they also lost more convincingly to iG than they did to Alliance IMO.

I can see Puppey and Kuroky leaving Na'Vi to form an European team as well. Eh I guess I just don't understand it. Navi is the face of Dota, the most popular and most successful (in the long run) team to exist in Dota 2. I can't really imagine why you would want to leave a team like that (which is presently doing well) but maybe its just me.
Just consider this TI3 to illustrate my point, would you have preferred to be the current members of Navi, or ARS-ART and LoH watching from the sidelines?
Edit: Also what tauon and hfglgg said on the previous page.

Burning perhaps. odds on chuan to zenith to replace xy? I think he'd be more likely to replace xFreedom in Zenith. I could also see Zenith breaking entirely into Malaysian and Singaporean squads. iceiceice, xFreedom, xy-, and whoever of Musica, Chawy, Roy, Lux and ToFuBoi are still active could continue Zenith. And there's a lot of Malaysian talent to put around YamateH, ChuaN and Ice, and a lot of Dota 1 players who could still play. Maybe something like Sharky, YamateH, RedSuN, ChuaN and Ice. Really though we need StarsBoba to come back. And not with this funky partially Skynet lineup; we need Recca, David21, Archie, Soso.on, MangaQ... They had a lot of great players and played a lot of great games. Gieb back plz. I believe Tofuboi is on Hyhy's LoL team. Zenith's blog has stated that xy- is moving to UK to continue studying.
I don't understand why Zenith would start a new team. They're an independent organisation which only has very few sponsors. The Malaysians are better off starting their own team.

Na'Vi reshuffled after winning TI1 only because their issue with Artstyle, so they picked up AA/Smile in place of him.
Prior to TI2, it was stated by Hvost, and even before then, news were spreading that Na'Vi were struggling to find their groove. They were arguing, had lost the drive and motivation. After a terrible day 1 with Puppey being sick, they managed to find their groove again and push all the way into Grand Finals, before losing to iG.
So a change after that wasn't a huge surprise to anyone considering they were having issues before. It was necessary to bring things back in shape for them. So they let Smile and Lost go. It took 2 months or so before a scary Na'Vi re-emerged and started destroying things left and right (aside from Alliance.)
Right now, if they DO change again (which is a possibility if the members aren't happy with their placements. Considering they are expected to win TI3 to make history.) Na'Vi will be hard pressed to find a replacement for anyone in their line-up. The only one that shows any promise is Vanskor, who is a support player. They cannot replace Funn1k, because no one in CIS has his skills.
That's why I find it hard that they will change unless it's absolutely necessary. No one can replace Puppey realistically, KKy maybe, Hvost... despite people's hate for him he is hard to replace too. Maybe if LGD.int does disband, God and Vanskor? That's the only thing I can think of.

There are a few Malaysian teams that are starting to grow, but the scene as a whole is still waaaay behind other countries. Also chances of Chuan coming back to Malaysia is close to 0, as no one can pay his salary. On that note I think either Zhou or Chuan might have to leave iG, though I think iG might replace Zhou instead, even if Chuan gets into verbal fights with fans on chinese twitter.

If TL change their roster I think they need a (good) drafter in priority.

Really glad there's a thread like this. I never could follow the roster shuffles and would end upknowing only half the players when I finally saw the teams play.

Would really like to see Scandal get a decent team out of this, RIP Empire.

personally.. only way of seeing liquid improving is bringing in brax, fear or universe.. but in all those positions liquid has them covered.. and probably the weakest link (sorry mike) is also probably the stronger than wayto and bdiz.. i dnt see any need for change with their current roster

What about Dendi becoming the D in Astana Dragons? Artstyle and Dendi go waaay back... hmmm, everyone seems to think Dendi is 100% Navi but any team that picks him up will get all of his fans in the process, he is worth the invesment imo

DD re-retires. LGD sign Ferrari to fill the mid role and Xiao8 moves back to support. Book it.

I don't see that much shuffling in the west this year, I think the bulk of teams had a tournament they can be proud of. The new money in the CIS scene is likely to make things shuffle there though.

Russian stream spoiled Korok and FLUFF dont talk to each other. Source unreliable, if Nazgul is hinting shuffels, shuffels will happen.

The CS team was in a completely different situation, though, as they've struggled to achieve anything lately.

Sadly I don't think my beloved Starsboba is gonna come back. So.soon, Yuna (MangaQ) and Archie have already transitioned to Lol. As for Recca, David and Neversmile, I don't know, maybe they've retired.
We used to compete evenly with the Chinese, Nirvana.my and other Asian teams, but now no other Vietnamese team can do that anymore, which is just incredibly sad

Okay added China
China has a lot of teams goddamn
|
A non-Chinese on a Chinese team or a Chinese to a non-Chinese team?
Could it happen?
|
So Burning isn't leaving the Dota scene but will he stay competitive?
Also Na'vi and XBOCT are taking us for a ride I'm pretty sure with that statement.

This is why I feel lgd is a bit overrated. They are stuck with no diversity, and opponens kappatalize on that. It was extremely clear and they didn't change it up much either. Never took the lead agressor role.

i hope TL dont shuffle. Their players are fine, they just have to revert to their post-G1 lan finals playstyle (aggressive and lots of movement, see match against LGD in TI3)
|
We need new players, specially on SEA. Iceiceice and Mushi said that they were just scrimming against each other, this is sad

I don't see a Chinese player joining a non-Chinese team. I could see a SEA player joining a Chinese team. From an interview iceiceice gave it sounded like he had offers to go to China.

Anyway, I love the shuffle. Maybe because I have no real loyalty to a team. But I just think it makes the scene more interesting.
I'd imagine we will see a new CIS super-team.
