Back on topic, Chuan already gave up on iG (look at his actual play at TI3, its like he wasn't trying at all) and based on all the drama, it would take a big attitude adjustment for him to get back into form. With DK roster locked in and LGD/Rstars all but confirmed, there aren't many other places for Chuan to go. For Chuan himself, going anywhere at this point other than staying with iG seems like a step backward for him professionally. Well if Chuan doesn't mind moving again being part of a team like Fnatic, Alliance wouldn't be a step back if rumors are true one player from each team needed to step away from the game. Orange would never be a step since that's the top team of his home country; but that 5th spot is filled so he's screwed there. As for teams in China yes you are right it would be a step back and he would need a lot of luck to stumble on a team that gets really good to the point they are contending for the 3rd best team in that country. His only option is Korea.
Don't forget that Chuan's original role back in the day he made his name famous was solo mid/carry. Most old school dota players are very flexible I mean look at Fear. I'm pretty sure he'll end up in Orange as a mid player if the spot is not taken by Yamateh.

He was a decent mid at one time, and most pro's are adaptable to play msot roles.

This looks like a somewhat official announcement. We kinda knew this for awhile but 7ckingMad's new team 7ckingMad, Socks, FATA-, Miggel and Mania. The blog's a good read as well.
http://7ckngmad.wordpress.com/2013/09/10/whats-next-for-quantic-a-fresh-start-for-something-new/
Solid team with a strong talent, games they've played so far have also been quite solid. Hope they're all committed to the plan that 7ckingMad has laid out for the team.
Sponsorship issues are still being sorted out (with Miggel/Mania both originally on Flipside and the Frenchmen on Quantic).

All those guys are such teamhoppers tbh. How many teams have miggel and co. been on in the last 6 months? 5?

I was exaggerating ofcourse, and maybe I should've said Mania and co and 'changing sponsors' instead of 'teamhopping'. The same bunch of players has been on aL, Space, FlipSide and now Quantic. If we go even further back they actually started on Quantic like two years ago and, iirc, then played for Eclypsia for a grand total of 2 days or something and then Copenhagen Wolves for like a week.
My point is these guys burn through sponsors faster than anyone . I'm not sure what to think of that.

AL is a sponsor, they weren't neccesarily dropped I believe as much as they left the organization due to it not paying out, they then formed Space(which is not sponsored at all) and were picked up and sponsored by Flipside after. They aren't as bad as you make it out to be. Eclypsia turned out to be a scam which makes them naive but not sponsor hopping.

As for FATA's comments, I think he's just making the statement to please his team/sponsors. 7ckingMad's post seems to imply that this line-up are going to commit to sticking together for the long term and that they just haven't resolved their sponsorship/contract issue considering they are essentially a merger of 3 teams. (kinda like Aui is "technically" still on Dignitas but we all know he's pretty much Kaipi's 5th man now).
EDIT: Post from Flipside's manager explaining the issue a bit. Essentially what I suggested, the team is still figuring out which sponsor to pick and he hopes the team sticks together no matter which sponsor they end up on. http://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/1m3ou9/7ckngmads_new_blog_article_on_quantics_future/cc5gyjm

You have to admit though, there's no single group of players that went through this many teams as these guys. I don't know if they're just that unlucky and end up on sponsors that don't pay out and hence end up looking for greener pastures all the time, or the fault lies with them. I could imagine sponsors dropping them for not performing very well. They never seem to win or place high in any tournament.

Arise was their mid player, Zizou was support
He was very hit and miss, huge plays and huge fails. Not to mention he constantly paused because of lag
