Doesn't life steal go up to 6% on 2-handers? I am pretty sure I have seen Skorns up to 6%. I think that is the lowest roll of LS actually. Not 100%, but easy to check on AH (just search for 2-h xbow with LS (no number in the box), no buyout, and sort for LS from up and down), so you don't have to take my word. 
And how much LS is needed to overcome RD depends on your resists, as the % of damage reflected wil be lowered by the resist. So the other glass-cannon DH needed a lot of LS to cancel RD, as his resists are so low. Maybe the percentage also depends on MP, not sure...

XBows are no real 2Handers, because you can have a Off-Hand. Only Weapons that uses both hands can roll double stats (200%CHD/6%LS etc)

Save it for 1.07 it will be worth a lot more once Gloom isn't mandatory anymore. LS is always nice to have against RD/Succubus anyway. Btw that damage is insane congrats.

I bought these for 5m a while back, prices vary so much and considering i'm 1 life on hit from max doesn't help.
From what i can tell you can get roughly the same stats, but with low loh for ~40m
