At around level 6-7 I met a pack of elites that were really fast and had the knockback. I couldn't run away from them O.O The wizard is very squishie early on. | ||

Ok, I don't mean run it using the windows XP operating system. I'm assuming you're using a windows client, if you're not I don't actually know how to help sorry, but if you are then right click on the file and then click properties, click on the compatabilities tab and tick the box "Run this program in compatability mode for:". Using the scroll bar under it, select "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)" and then apply at the bottom right. After that when you run the program it will run as if as if you were using Windows XP and is how I got around the problem you're describing. Also (since you said you were a computer ignoramus  ) this will only affect that one file and can be changed back at any time by unticking the box. | ||

Anduriel was pretty much the only dangerous part in act 1 and that was mostly because because of the chock of meeting someone actually dangerous. Actually the whole diablo 2 on normal difficulty was quite easy. I even got my little sister who hadn't played any games except The Sims in her life to beat the game. I don't know why people expects Blizzard to make D3 any harder for casuals. How they accomplish the end game is a different matter. | ||
