Why...? I don't want to sound like a dick, but I haven't seen anything special from him in gsl 1. Has he improved that much? What's really going on here? Don't get me wrong, I like the guy since he seems to be super mannered and I sometimes prefer it over the skill of a player (Hi idra), but this is totally random and unexpected.

Awesome news, this is exactly the perfect thing to enlargen the foreigner scene. It's unexpected, but who can complain? Hopefully this will lead other teams in looking at other foreigners as well. Heres to you TorcH!

edit: On a side note, with some refinement, some of Torch's innovative builds would possibly be excellent for sniping good players in clan war/teamleague type scenarios. Don't want to read into it too much, but perhaps there's some thought behind this move, more than just, "here's a token white guy." Grats and best of luck again!

seriously, saying he is not worthy of getting on the team just stinks of jealousy. How many of you went down to Korea pretty much unannounced and then proceeded to qualify for the GSL?

Oh yeah....just him.

Even if you are not his fan it's a great stride for all of foreign SC players. Be happy for the guy, living the dream man.

Torch is quite talented and has that spark that a lot of players currently much better than him don't. I'm pretty sure Startale noticed this.

The sort of problems he has in his play seem purely mechanics-oriented and he can easily overcome by just grinding them up on to the sufficient level. Especially in the sort of team he's in.
