Did you miss Idra's MLG interview where he repeatedly thanked the fans and exclaimed that without them progamers couldn't exist?
You might've also saw the Lo3 review party after where IdrA also blatantly claimed he did not care about what people and the community think anyways. He's said both.... yes... but it shows how contradictory he can be. I think IdrA if he lost his fans if he did something super shady I don't think he would care.

People need to start distinguishing Idra's ragey outbursts (calling Masq a "fag" for all-in'ing for instance) and the way he (sometimes bluntly) characterizes other players. There's a form of implicit politeness to the way he honesty says what he thinks about other players. Because he doesn't care to conceal what he really thinks about some players, it conversely highlights the genuine respect he has for others. A compliment doesn't carry any meaning when it comes from someone who's always calling everyone "awesome". At least, when Idra offers praise you can tell it's genuine because you know he'd have no qualms expressing the opposite opinion.
I love idrA's genuine bemusement when he's told HuK didn't make it at 3:35ish. Also funny to see him walking up in background at 2:20. He appears to spawn "within" Geoff and flash past with his pillow if you didn't catch him approaching earlier.
Still, I'm glad HuK was so confident in his interview. It might have hurt a lot to miss out on the round of 64, but when you're that sure of your abilities you should be able to bounce back quite quickly.
The video's of FruitDealer are labeled the wrong way around by the way, as you can see part 2 of 2 is on Xel Naga Caverns, which was of course the first map of the series..
I don't get why people get so worked up about the things idra says, the guy just sometimes behaves like thousands of other b.net kids, raging and calling people names over losing games or using strategies he finds "unfair/unbalanced".
In the same way I don't get why people get worked up about Zenio beating idra then doing his little taunt/victory jig (or whatever it is not familiar with korean body language). All he does is drop down to the same rager/b.net kid attitude that idra sometimes displays.

I dont know if you can call it "bad manners" if you criticise some1 for all-in moves, its just an opinion you share. Imho its about the attitude and tone that crticism is made towards you. So by just getting told that you are thought to change something, it isnt bad mannered at all, its just some1 sharing his/her opinion with you.

I believe Idra and Ret can do well this GSL, maybe not winning, but Ro8/4 is clearly possible. But imagine if one of the foreigners gets to the final. Especially if it's against an 'international' Korean who's got a large fanbase outside of Korea - Cool, Foxer, SlayerS_Boxer, or Spirit_Moon .
It would be such an amazing event for the great SC community

Just a little criticism, though. You shouldn't call people "retards" in a video you publish (Ret final match pt. 2). Yeah, you're privately filming here and not being the official commentator for GomTV, but it still puts a dent in your otherwise very calm and professional appearance.
Thanks alot for all the interviews and the overall coverage of the qualifiers. Seems like you have a really fun time there, too bad it's quite a ride to get there, otherwise I would for sure.
