A lot of people ride talent and BM to some degree of fame/success because of the attention it gives them. When it comes down to it, two guys with equal and a very high degree of talent match up, the one with more support from his team is going to win most of the time. That's the whole idea behind forming teams that live/play together. If his attitude is really that poor, I imagine he's also a pretty shitty teammate. Usually teams have to put up with guys like him because management knows he'll bring eyes to sponsors. | ||

Funny that all his EG teammates, sirscoots, etc say that IRL he's the nicest dude in the world; which is also the impression that his serious interviews give. | ||

If you are some random noob and decide to ignore a guy who is annoying you, nothing happens. If you are well-known player in your country's gaming community or whatever and ignore some random noob, you suddenly become a cocky bastard who is full of himself. idra is obviously no angel, but there is hardly a single player who never reacted in some game in a manner that would make his opponent or an observer believe he is a bad mannered person. In reality, you have to meet a person to make the judgement, because all the stuff that you see in a game is exactly what it is....in a game. As for idra's comments in interviews and such - as stated earlier, there is a difference between speaking your mind earnestly and being BM. | ||
