I'm still pretty amazed at all the foreigner hate going on here. The only difference between top level Koreans and top level foreigners is the amount of practice time. As Starcraft 2 grows in North America like it has been, players should be able to make enough money from tournaments and sponsors to support a mass-gaming lifestyle. I think Idra, Ret and maybe Huk (and others) have the potential to be winning GSL's. On a side note, I'm not entirely sure how the GSL system works (classes etc), but I think it's pretty dumb that the great players need to constantly qualify. There should be a system where if you do well, you get an automatic qualify for the year or something like that. Maybe that already exists and I just don't know about it. | ||
