![]() But seriously, if Jaedong leaves Flash won't be far behind. The competition will just be gone unless someone else rises up(and effort already left so....)

Right now the rules of Kespa dont allow "switching to SC2" as far as i know. Thats why Iron, MVP and Idra all left their Kespa-pro-teams for SC2

No reason to change any time soon though as he clearly says his goal is to increase his reputation abroad and there are currently no big international tournaments.

JD is the only reason I still follow BW, I watch every single match with him that I can get my hands on. The current top players in sc2 are great, I loved watching GSL1, imagine what it would be if the very best (active)players switched as well! Guess its down to money, politics and contracts :/

GSL is fairly large internationally, at least from a spectator point of view. Several hundred thousand watched it live and already the VODs are at nearly 150k views on the official site after only a couple of days (I dont know how many through restreams or other unofficial sources for the VODs). I mean, he does say that SC2 already has a higher status than BW... "I will definitely change to StarCraft II as I feel that StarCraft 2 is having a higher status then StarCraft: Broodwar."

Vods and live is good obviously but the live audience and the players more importantly are still mostly korean. For the OSL finals in China, he said he was excited because it was a big match outside of Korea. I'm pretty sure what he wants is live audience and more foreign players, to prove his global domination to everyone. I dont even know if the players in GSL are aware of the large foreign audience on the internet actually. I remember from interviews and other communication between foreigners and BW pros, there was always that question "are you aware that you have a lot of fans outside of korea ?" and they seemed surprised every single time.
