About the size of the monitor, some people have sizes they feel really comfortable with, so it's up to the person. But usually people like bigger monitors(22" and up). However, it also depends on your gfx card because some older ones can only give out so much. If you try to play a game like SC2 on a big monitor w/ a not-so-good(just speaking hypothetically, we all don'tk now what's "good" for SC2) then you won't be able to play at a very high quality level.

768MB Ram 80GB hard drive GFX: Was a FX5200, then I bought a second hand 6600GT. Then the fan died so I attached a case fan to the heatsink with double sided tape and string. The gfx maker helpfully made some holes on the corners of the board so clearly they expected people to do this. + Show Spoiler + ![]() 12 year old case Enermax 520W Samsung 931C monitor

( its really simple => ) ull get a way better comp with 1500 bucks this way. edit : call around before u get the parts to make sure your local shops do this stuff.

Asus P5KC Intel Core Quad Q6600 @ 2.4GHz 2 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT Samsung 500GB It costed me around 800€ 1.5 year ago. I think I will run sc2 with no issues. You should get Vista 64 bit to get the most out of ram. Currently you are getting just 2 GB. Actually I'm getting 3.5 ![]() ![]()

Core 2 Duo E8500 @ 4.0GHz Asus P5Q-Pro Antec Earthwatts 500W 4GB DDR2-1066 ATI Radeon HD 4870 1GB Intel X25-M SSD 80GB WD Caviar 640GB Hopefully it should still be able to max SC2 w/o much problem. I'm not considering any updates for this rig esp since it plays everything I throw at it and I'm really not much of a PC gamer (except SC of course).
