Windows 7 AMD Phenom X4 9550 4 GB Ddr 2 401.8 MHz (3.2 to be correct , go 32 bit :D) Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT (The 512 MB one , this thing runs everything ^^) This pc is 2 years old atm and still runs every game smoothly. My laptop is being repaired at the moment but i'm pretty sure it can run starcraft 2 without any problems as well. Will chek after release ^^ | ||

I just ordered a new desktop and am wondering if it will run SC2 on highest settings. Monitor resolution is 1920 x 1080. Intel i7 2.8 GHZ 8 GB DDR3 ati hd 5770 1TB HDD thanks! | ||

I'm going to upgrade the ram to 2GB and replace the video card. Any suggestions on good video cards (the 8800 gt seems popular here, but I would prefer something around the $100 range since I'm on a budget)? I find Tom's Hardware site to be really good and I use it to pick out a graphics card the last two times I've built a new rig. You can even find some for $60 if you search hard enough. | ||

Thats pretty much identical to my rig and I play at 1920x1080 on a mix of med/high settings. I only really start to see choke or fps loss in 3v3 games toward the later stages. However, my vid card runs so hot its disgusting (thank house fan for keeping it alive). not sure why you're having trouble at low settings with those specs. maybe its win7? I'm running xp....for life. | ||

Biostar 890GXE 4gb ddr3 750gb hd radeon 5670 500w antec basiq 40ish fps at 1280x1024 on high, big drop going from high to ultra though. I'm pretty satisfied overall though and won't be investing in a better video card, I think it looks great on high. | ||
