That site tells you whether you can run a game or not and how well you can do it. I've used it for the last couple of years, pretty good. Starcraft 2 Beta is there as well.

OS: Windows® 7 Pro Premium, 64Bit, English CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.00ghz OC'd to 2.3ghz Memory: 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 Hard Drive: 280GB SATA II Video Card: Nvidia 260m 512gb also OC'd Screen: 15" at 1366 x 768 With it over clocked it can run SC2 on ultra with out a problem, in UMS or a huge battle it will lag a lot. In 1v1 tho ultra never lags, tho I play on high just because I'm really nitpicky about how smooth it is.

First ever expensive thing I bought myself. Bought it so I could use things like Photoshop and some 3D-programs smoothly - it can even run Crysis on the highest settings with (almost) no lag. Runs SC2 in Ultra without problems. Only time I've ever seen it lag was now in phase 2 when I had 6 carriers cloaked under a mothership whilst firing all their interceptors meeting a huge army.

Due to lack of minerals. I tend to buy some cheap hardware and just OC the Proc and GPU.So here is my soon to be specs. Proc:Intel E5300 (2.6G) dual core ( I'll OC it to 3.0ghz up to 3.5ghz) mobo:Intel BLKDG41TY G41 X4500-V/S/dvi Corsair 4GB XMS2 800 ddr2 (2gb x 2) 320gb Western Digital SATA Gpu: my current gt9500 ( ill OC this also) and some nice PSU, proc and gpu cooler. My question is, Can it run sc2 on ultra? and can i record fpvod while i'm playing? No...unless in very low resolution... The major problem is the GPU...9500 GT is too slow... But why run on ultra? If u really want to play on ultra, u have to change the GPU

I'm not an expert in anyway but this seems a lot for rather little for that much money u could probably have gotten 2x as much at least in a normal PC

you're going back 2 generations to buy a card that didn't even perform that well. (if I remember correctly the 9800gt was just a dieshrink of the 8800gt)

Intel i7 920 @ 3.7 GHz HT on 6 GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator 2 ATi 5970 in Quadfire I'm not impressed by its performance in SC2 so far. I have settings all to highest but not using AA and my FPS drops too much for my tastes.

But make sure that if you buy a GPU with pci-e express that your mobo has that... older boards don't

And I'd also like to have the question that Air asked to be answered, as I can also run the beta fine on medium settings.
