Pentium 4 3.40GHz
3G RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5670
The only thing allowing me to play on Medium settings is my ATI Radeon HD 5670. This is just a temporary solution, will be building a beastly computer come this Christmas.

CPU: Intel 6850 2.99 GHz RAM: 2 gigs GPU: 8800 GT 1 gig Been running the beta on ultra without many issues, replays tend to stutter while changing playback speeds though. Gameplay is quite smooth even in 4v4s with large armies.

God if I'd seen this thread before HDH I would've had a much different opinion of HD.

MSI 870A-G54 AM3 mobo 4GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 12800 RAM Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GPU Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200RPM HDD Heatsink: GELID Solutions Tranquillo heatsink/fan (amazingly quiet and good cooling) SeaSonic M12II 520W modular power supply Windows 7 Home (64) Started playing on Ultra settings... I have no slowdown during 1v1 games, and a 4 person custom game of Evolves with 1000+ characters on the screen also didn't give me any slowdown. My Core Temp max temperature was 48°C during the Evolves game. But if anyone is thinking about using this as a build, replace the RAM with a regular type of G.Skill RAM. The Tranquillo's heatsink is really big, and it hovers over the 1&2 RAM slots, which means that the RAM heatsink teeth on the Ripjaws make the RAM slightly too tall... So I have to use slots 3&4, and if I ever decide to get more than 4GB I will need to find a different type of RAM, with just the stick, no heatsinks.

Anyway, specs: Intel Core 2 Duo T6400 with 2.00 GHz each 3 Gigs of Ram Graphics card is Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family I mean, can I even run this on low setting? T_T My graphics card isn't a dedicated one... and can only run at a max of 358 MB while it's currently using 132 MB. =/

Hell, my integrated HD 4200 chip sucks on medium shaders with 512MB shared memory and OC'ed to 800Mhz. I doubt even low would run well. I feel bad for you. D:

My budget is below $600(exclude monitor), but the lower the better, What I am thinking to get is CPU: Core i3-530/540 or Athlon II X4 635/640 GPU: Radeon 5770 or Radeon 4870. For raw power I think the 4870 can performe better than the 5770 at SC2, need some clarification here. Although about the CPU, which one should I get? Is 2GB of RAM gonna be enough or I need 4GB? Any input is appreciated, thanks
