Anyways, here's what my sources have told me for the upcoming series:
Cleveland 4 > 2 Orlando
LA 4 > 3 Denver
Cleveland 4 > 3 LA
I think LA / Denver will be the closest, that could easily go either way.

KG will hopefully be back strong next year but he's on the decline, and it's possible the knee thing will keep nagging at him. At least Ray had a solid game, but he can't carry a team, he needs to work with players who can get to the basket more to free him for looks. Hopefully Bill Walker develops into somethin good, he's got good size and athletic ability. But yea the future doesn't look so bright right now.. Anyways, here's what my sources have told me for the upcoming series: Cleveland 4 > 2 Orlando LA 4 > 3 Denver Cleveland 4 > 3 LA I think LA / Denver will be the closest, that could easily go either way. Pierce has 0 all-star caliber years left in him, neither does KG. Ray Allen is the only one left with juice in the tank IMO. Rondo is good and will get better, but nobody else will develop into anything special in my opinion. The rest of their players feed off of KG/Piece, but with them declining, the progress of people like Perkins and Glen Davis will also decline. Boston is pretty much fucked in the butt unless they do some restructuring around their core 3 with a long term plan. Basically what they need is some new solid role players + 1-2 young people who they think will be future stars (a la Rondo) so that when Pierce/KG/Allen contracts go up, they can afford to either get another big name player elsewhere, or pay big money to an upcoming player on their team.

as for boston...their window of opportunity is definitely gone, for sure. knee injuries are one of the hardest injuries to get back from and kg's age isn't helping. so im like expecting cavs/lakers/magic/blazers/(rockets?) for the next few years or so gotta give credit to the celts though, they played really well (overachieved even?) in the postseason.

KG shoots turnaround jumpers and cleans up at that rim offensively. Offenses can't really play off isolations unless they're doubled. Perkins, Rondo, and Glen Davis are all young. Healthy celtics have as much a chance as any team next year. They could stand to improve with some quality pickups. Even without garnett, they could have much been much better with say Joe Smith instead of Mikki Moore. Edit: And I think you guys are highly underrating Orlando. And my bad, I was thinking it's Joe something, and Josh Smith is on the Hawks...

I think the Celtics need a true backup Center to be contenders again next year. Perkins is the only actual Center on that team, they could use a solid 7 foot role player who can board and play defense. Joe Johnson? That's more than a "quality pickup" IMO. Having three future HOFers is nice enough, but toss in another Allstar-level talent like JJ and that team is just ridiculously loaded. I highly doubt they'd be able to get a player of that caliber without losing one of the big 3.

LOL jesus K-Mart is pretty dumb. I assume he doesn't realize "ain't never" is a double negative. Didn't notice the stuff he said to fans etc. though, funny how he doesn't address that.

Orlando's had issues all post season - getting big leads and blowing them, seemingly cracking under pressure, etc. So it really depends on what Orlando team shows up to play Clevland because I don't think Clevland is going to beat itself. And honestly I don't really think Clevland is playing significantly better than they did in the regular season... their opponents have been about the same and they have a similar point differential. Essentially, they're playing exactly the same game as they have been all season. Orlando found a winning formula during the season, the onus is on them to do what they did. Orlando matches up very well against Clevland. LeBron's damage offensively is almost 100% done in the paint. Howard might be one of the only people in the NBA who can deny him from getting easy baskets in there, because nobody in the East can single-coverage him successfully. Alston is a good PG who can contend with Delonte West. Mo Williams can be picked up by Pietrus or Courtney Lee, who are both bigger than Mo and very agile. Also, Clevland will have problems dealing with Orlando's shooters... Rashard Lewis is going to be a big matchup problem for them I think, either him or Turkoglu. They're going to need to put LeBron on Turkoglu or Lewis, which means one or the other will be free to do a ton of damage. Neither Big Z or Varajao will be able to neutralize Dwight. I think the series is definitely winnable. That being said, Orlando has shown very inconsistent play, while Clevland has been the epitome of consistency this season and in the playoffs. At the very least, I'm expecting an interesting series, I don't think Clevland will sweep. I'm going to predcit Clevland wins 4-2, with Orlando taking one game IN Clevland (possibly game 1), but the games are going to be good and competitive, I'm not expecting the Cavs to win by 10+ every game. However, I'm REALLLLLLLLLLY rooting for Orlando because I fucking HATE Clevland.
