Ric Bucher literally lists two of the biggest+strongest players to play in the NBA in the past 30 years, and for SURE during the 90's when Grant was highly active and says "and dozens of other bigger, stronger opponents." I wasn't aware there were dozens of people bigger and stronger than Shaq. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/otl/news/story?id=4174877Feel really bad for him though, I liked him a lot and he was a great guy.
It doesn't say the other dozen is bigger than shaq but bigger than brian grant instead

kleiza is afraid to get in the games with these guys =p they are a fun team to watch, unlike the lakers on most nights

the lakers seem to lack true chemistry...

It's because they don't have souls.

I said bench guards not fisher. Also, they're not going to bring over Gasol or Bynum to double on a posting guard. That would be insane.

I mean posting point guard. It's not insane to do it vs Kobe and LeBron, obviously.

i really hope denver rapes the lakers

I think Shannon might be able to do a decent job of battling Billups in the post, he's got good size and strength. I would guess that Billups would prefer to use his savvy and bag of tricks against a player as inexperienced as Shannon to draw fouls against him, as opposed to trying to muscle/overpower him in the post.
As for help, I don't see why they wouldn't double. The Lakers typically overload the strong side anyway, and I don't think Nene and KMart are such good shooters that the Lakers would fear leaving them open on the weakside and just closing out when the pass goes there.

The game tonight is going to be extremely interesting, regardless of what happens.

kleiza is afraid to get in the games with these guys =p they are a fun team to watch, unlike the lakers on most nights denver is a very likeable team. anderson's return is a great story, and he's a good teamplayer and crowd pumper, and chauncy is fun to watch. i really hope they win, because i think they'll put up more a consistent effort against whoever comes out of the east.
im tired of watching teams trade blowouts

Who covers JR smith when Kobe's out? If Nene can't handle bynum, they can put kleiza on him. Will the lakers bigs dominate kenyon martin/nene/anderson? What happens when the unstoppable object hits the immovable wall v.2009?
The lakers have a much higher chance of winning game 2 than game 1. Phil Jackson said he didn't have time to plan adjustments in practices.

lol Sacramento went from 1st to 4th.
Oklahoma got 3rd. Memphis got 2nd. Clippers got 1st.
Clippers gonna be dangerous next season yo. Griffin/Kaman/Cambey/Thornton/Baron? with Eric Gordon. Goodness.

Both Shannon and Sasha are decent defenders, but you're right that J.R. is going to be a player the Lakers are going to have to be concerned about since he's had big scoring nights against them previously.
If Nene can't handle Bynum, what makes you think Kleiza, who isn't even a true PF, will be able to? That has to be a typo or something.
Most analysts seem to think that, while KMart is a great defender, his significant height and size disadvantage against both Gasol and Bynum, and his speed/quickness/length disadvantage against Odom, will give the Lakers a mismatch in the post. Even Nene has shown that he struggles against the Lakers size, as the Lakers have dominated the boards in each game. Anderson had some nice block numbers, but I don't think he has the size to stop either Bynum or Gasol in the post. He shines as a help defender.

Lakers gonna blow them out by 19.

First 5 mins, Denver's already got 14, Lakers defense gonna get burned
