(I'm gonna assume you're not iszard/EQUES, tho a couple of things about your post do suggest you are...) I "copy" from OGN commentators and PGR21? Please, show me where. Any info. I "copy" from PGR21 is properly given credit for. You may not think so, but that's probably because you yourself mainly use PGR21 and believe any information on that site MUST be the original source and/or the ONLY source of such information. That's just not true. I always give credit where credit is due. I also do not "copy" the OGN commentators. I may write certain points which mirror things also said by OGN, but that's because we're all watching the same match and there's only so much that can be said when describing a given play. In most cases, the OGN commentators aren't saying anything new: anyone who's followed pro gaming is very likely thinking the same thing while watching. Everyone knows Reach is gosu with mass strats, that Xellos is undefeated on Neo Bifrost and that he's known as the Perfect Terran, that Boxer loves dropships and he's a great defensive player. Why should I credit OGN for such well-known "facts," especially if I've already written comments in my notebook on something before the OGN commentators have even mentioned it? I simply do not feel like writing "AND THE OGN COMMENTATORS SAID THE SAME THING" each and every time I happen to think of something that the commentators also said just so people will know I'm not "copying." I guess I COULD do that, but this isn't a professional publication (do professional publications even do that?) and it's certainly not a university essay where proper footnoting is essential. I could also just put a blanket notice at the bottom of each of my reports stating "SOME OF THE COMMENTS IN THIS REPORT MAY HAVE ALSO BEEN MENTIONED BY THE OGN COMMENTATORS," but does that make sense? My reports are my own and you will not find the same combination of words, observations and facts (or even a similar combination of words, observations and facts) anywhere else in the world (unless it's copied from this site). If I'm guilty of any kind of "copying" then it's probably statistics which OGN flashes on its screen or sometimes mentioned by the OGN commentators. In this respect I would have to admit I may have been a bit lazy not putting together the numbers myself or giving credit to OGN. But, again, I'd like to think readers realize the stats aren't generated by me and that I don't do in-depth research for my reports (altho, yes, sometimes I do...) and don't expect me to. But, anyway, I'll try a different format for statistics in future reports and see how it goes. Assuming you're not iszard, I have the feeling you may be influenced by contact with iszard/EQUES. I will not tell you who to associate with (tho you really could do better), but I do ask that you check your facts before you accuse someone of plagiarism. Well, you are a former mensrea No-Prize winner, so guess I can offer a short, short explanation then: The Korean nick given to Sync is "Bul-kkot Terran." Bul-kkot, strictly speaking, means "spark" (as in "sparks flew when the metal swords clashed..." etc.). On the other hand, bul-kkot may also be used to mean "fireworks" - it's not technically wrong. But, in fact, most Koreans usually say bul-kkot-no-ri when talking about fireworks a la 4th of July USA and not just bul-kkot, thus my preference. But, who cares? I change my mind again. I'm gonna go with "Blaze Terran" from now on. I may be convinced to explain my reasons, but only for a fee... | ||

Well to briefly introduce myself, I lived in korea for about 2 years and was for about 4 months elky and smuft's manager in Korea. Actually, I have several questions to ask, about Iszard and mensrea's identity. I know for fact that iszard is a girl, that use to work for dreamwiz if Im right, I also remember her getting my email adress and kindly fowarding me infos on korean leagues and stuff, since it was a bit hard to go check by myself on the websites cuz i didnt speak korean. Despite Jasmine's obvious lack of english grammar knownledge, I assume she must be a very nice girl, since she worked with Lena, that I know pretty well cuz I worked with her on several shows while I was in Korea, and Dreamwiz webstaff always looked to me very kind and devoted, but I never met Jasmine aka iszard or I do not remember. Regarding Mensrea, first of all, I can't remember if you are a chick or not. If you're not, and if you actually are that close to players in korea, I think I must have met you, at least online, but thing is that, amongst all the girls I met through guild parties that were somehow related to gamers and pg community never ever spoke a single word of english, and I do not have any record of a bnet korean chick speaking english fluently. If you are a guy, I have to say you remind me of someone, a young guy, that could speak ok english, and that was along with a goup of friends, completly glued to megawebstation each starleague given day, I think I might even have met you in gembcstudios. The way you speak reminds me of this kind of very big PGaming fan, but appart the pro gaming community itself. I know for fact that you can't be close to korean pro gamers online or real life, you would not talk about the game and the players this way, the way you comment the games and such obviously shows a very basic SC knownledge and game understanding wich are very regular amongst the common starleague young amateur, that watches every show on cable tvs related to SC. I know alot of ppls in korea, young, just like you, that speak the same way and such about Gaming in korea in general, and its very nice, but I kinda, and take no offense, dislike the way you make readers feel you are actually involved and deeply close to pro gaming buisiness in korea, because you're obviously not. I'll might be wrong tho, might also maybe me mistaking. But still, I should ask elky, I think he knows or you met him somewhere right ? Anyway, if you're one of the young sc fans I often met with elky or steven in studios, stages, lan or leagues, Im happy that the very few young ppls good at english in Korea and that get really interested in SC spend some time explaining to foreign ppls how its working over there, and I did not blame the way you see pro gaming, I think its good to give peoples the commonfolk's hardcore sc fan in korea point of view of pro gaming. Thank you for writing. I suggest you ask the people who frequent this board why they believe iszard to be a complete psychopath. I understand that you may have had a pleasant experience with her (many others, including myself, did too - at least in the beginning), but there is a reason for the hostility. I do not feel like going over again the exact details (perhaps if you took the time to peruse some of the older threads on our site...), but she has repeatedly and blatantly lied to and caused considerable distress to people on this and other sites. I do not ask you to believe everything I say, only that, if you are interested in the truth, to take the time to look into the situation. I try as much as possible to give people the benefit of the doubt. But, there are limits to everything and unfortunately, with iszard, she crossed that limit a long time ago and in a very big way. Please, keep posting here and, if at all possible, communicate with Nazgul and/or Halpmeh (aka Angel) about iszard. I have chosen not to publicize details of my identity and I have my reasons. Suffice it to say tho that your guesses are incorrect and that I am fairly certain I have never met you irl (tho really, it's a small world and you never know...). I am curious (and a little surprised) about your comment that you "dislike" the way I "make readers feel [I am] actually involved and deeply close to pro gaming business in Korea." How have I done that? Where have I ever in any of my writings anywhere and anytime said that? I have never pretended to be anything other than a person who happens to write about SC and professional gaming as a hobby. You are absolutely correct that the stuff I write is nothing special and that any generally interested SC fan in Korea could do it. Heck, more than once, my observations and predictions have later been proven wrong. I make no secret of any of this. If people, for whatever reason, speculate (as some have here in this thread) that I may be a former pro gamer or such other "deeply" related individual, then fine - it means that I'm at least doing a decent job. It's also likely a result of my identity being unknown to the general public. But, I do not believe this should be a reason to "dislike" anything. Certainly, my intent isn't to make myself seem like something I am not. I enjoy writing about SC and I do know something about the game, and ultimately I can only do my best in trying to give info that's relevant and in a format that's fun. I do not believe you should have a problem with this, whether you feel my reporting and knowledge of SC is hasu or not (it may well be from your perspective). Btw i just checked the link nazgul wrote down in one of his last posts. I gotta agree its a bit sick. But mensrea if your korean, you know its not a big deal =] and ur using this fact aside your knownledge of korean ppls =] Well to others, I know many young ppls in korea, that would be keen with writting that kind of crazy stuff to us, but koreans in general, get very very agressive when u get to an opinion conflict or A real argue. I have a very funny story. I will not tell the names of concerned ppls so i will just say mr A and mr B. So I was friend of mr A and mr B, we were in korea and a girl happened to date both of them on a very short time, this goes to a huge mess between everybody that i try to clean up and i get somehow to speak on the phone with this korean young girl met in BOSS that was such a trouble to everybody. And you kknow i was kinda pissed of at all of this and this girl and she was like angry as well. ANyway i ended telling her she was a slut. But not like hard way you know. Anyway 3 days later another of her boyfriend, that was last years university box champion in korea came to pay me a visit that ended in a bad way for both of us. Thing is that, I know many korean ppls that get angry very fast for not so much, they have a very strict concept of arguing with someone. If its serious, then it goes to death most of the times. They prolly just dont like wasting time. At last to you mensrea, how come I laughed a bit reading the trash she wrote, but I wasnt that surprised =] ? Anyway yeah, its a small but very very very closed and underground world =] I mean pro gaming. | ||

I never hanged out with him tho, but he was posting on bw.com for a while i remember, and he always was stucked to guillaume and daniel each friday or amd events at megawebstation. If you ever showed up with him at megawebstation I might have met you. | ||
