I can't believe there are people in here who actually like this trash MC and say he is one of the best
and if something is underground you probably haven't heard it if you like mainstream shit. If you have, it's probably not underground but claims to be or used to be. Sage Francis, Buck 65, Atmosphere, Josh Martinez, Necro, Immortal Tech, Zion I, Living Legends, etc. I do not consider these groups/MCs underground at all. As every teenager has heard of them.
Like I could list all my favorite MCs and I would bet 95% of them you guys have never even heard of. And would probably change your mind about underground sucking or whining or whatever. But I'm not going to because you're being closed minded, so why should I share?

because some of us would actually like to hear them? not my fault that im stuck in a small town in 'northern' canada where the only way i can find out about any MCs is via the internet.

you are a fucking snob.
Keep your little wack backpocket rappers. You know the truth while the others are sheep.
Heres a few songs from one of my favorites that most probably havent heard of. Hes "underground" but can actually rap unlike most of the "underground" rappers who are bitching and have horrible voices and no delivery.
J-Live - Epilogue
J-Live - Dont Play
J-Live - One for the Griot(this one is cool, its a story like those books where you pick what you wanna do and go to this page etc)
Heres another group who has some pretty decent songs. Some of them are little out there to me but this one is a gem
Cunninlynguists ft Masta Ace - Seasons(basically comparing the history of hip hop to the seasons changing in the year...beat is sick...cunninlynguists producer is really good)

And I will cause the shit you post is a joke in comparison.
No its not. Because for it to be a joke in comparison, we would need something to compare it to, which you don't provide. So I'm sorry to say, put up or shut up.
Who cares how big or small an artist is as long as it sounds good. Are you going to hate on me cause I listen to good MCs like Sage Francis and Atmosphere ? While I certainly don't think they are close to the best mcs, I like listening to their music and it has a place and purpose on my playlist. Same as Snoop, 2pac, Redman, Wu Tang, whatever other famous hip hop I listen to. If its good, I'll prolly like it.
Why does being unknown correlate to being a good mc? That's the part I don't understand. You're free to like whoever you like, but just because no one's ever heard of them doesn't automatically make them superior to mcs that people have heard of. I'm sure they're better than Soulja Boy or T-Pain or whoever the hell they play on the radio these days, but automatically they're better than every "popular, yet underground" mc? That's just silly.
And to be honest, I'd be more welcoming to people who like IT, Atmosphere, etc. because those artists are creating a LOT more interest in "real" hip-hop. Where the lyrics actually mean SOMETHING and while the message might not be exactly how you like it or their lyrics precisely on point, they're still creating buzz in the industry and helping struggling artists make a living doing what they love. I'd think everyone who loves hip-hop and music in general should be for that.

Thanks for saying more in line of what I was meaning to say. I mean, I listen to MC Chris and I like him, but most of you guys would probably not like it and thats cool. However, what I kind of like most about him is that he seems like the last person on earth who should be on the mic so in a way he makes it seem like anyone could do it if they worked hard enough.
isn't it obvious why charlie can't post any of these proclaimed godly underground artists? because if he did, someone besides himself would know who they are, therefore being slightly less underground.
Man, you got issues bro, this isn't a topic for the lame shit you're saying.. post some shit or stfu
others just dont give a fuck about how underground u r and how many underground mcs u know. ur subtle (haha) bragging is annoying. just let every1 post their fav. rap/hip.hop w/e music without asserting they r main, pop or w/e and dont listen to true / real music like u do
