Is it just the leveling experience that is totally out of whack? I took my 10X Twinks out to see if i want to reroll into one of These. Tried Afflilock (with no weapon? Because the one i had was Demo) and he is a god. Tried Elemental Shaman (with inactive weapon, I guess) and he is just hilariously bad aside from "the stars aligned and you get all the proccs"). I also did the pre BFA Questline that sends you to silitius on my old main Priest... Uhm, 4-5 extremly boring/standard quests and thats it? Nothing happens and it doesn't lead anywhere? Did i miss something? Most likely i will end up with my Priest again, as i allways do since Classic... But i wonder, was Elemental Shaman in any addon ever "good"? | ||

Also elemental shaman is good, i don't think it's the best DPS spec but it's definitely good. | ||

Yes, the leveling is a bit out of whack. Not only did they rework old content leveling, but the BFA stats squish apparently affected that too. Current BFA quest line in Silithus is like a pre-pre-expansion. It has been in the game when the last raid tier was introduced and ongoing. Blizzard has added quest or two to the whole thing afterwards. Quest line & event(s) that are happening for this pre-bfa patch are coming out this week. | ||

In fact on single-target animal companion is a very slight DPS loss right now. :x Stuff is pretty screwed in general right now, lower level experience is broken. 100+ seems okay but inconsistent as far as i've heard and the 110 raids were extremely overtuned. Old raids got a blanket 1.45x nerf to health and damage but Antorus is still OP. 8.0 launched with a huge lack of polish and some features missing / pushed to 8.1 - 8.1.5 --- They actually made major nerfs to the environment detail slider in BFA seemingly on purpose, and maybe to the other sliders as well. There are some actual numbers on this, e.g. "lodObjectCullSize" being 18 on the absolute max of the slider while it was 10 or less based on some comparison screenshots in Legion, lower being better. That will lower graphics and raise FPS for everyone that hasn't set these variables manually outside of the WoW options menu. It has become obvious that i had more like 50% higher FPS on my Legion 7.3.5 benchmark than i do in 8.0 in the same zone, same flight path. Fuck that. | ||

No no, I meant Killer Instinct is "50% more sometimes" (execute range), Animal Companion READS like "double damage ALL times" which seems obviously better, but apparently has a stealth nerf to your main pet to compensate. But yeah I probably wouldn't use KI for leveling regardless since low health stuff rarely matters for ordinary mobs | ||

I agree with you, but IMO Metzen is Thrall and unless he wants to do VA for it, I don't see thrall coming back anytime soon. Also regarding Jaina being a boss at some point, I'd find it fitting if Thrall would be there during the encounter or afterwards. | ||
