It's hard to straight up heal but you can make a list of tricks like healthpot/shadowmeld/cooldownX/cooldownY to live through it

From my experience with premades it's always been fine but i had a pug holy priest who would take 1-2 seconds to notice the cast and then try to hard cast heals without doing anything special and he died whenever FOTW came up which caused a wipe chain

I feel that DHT is by far the easiest +10 or higher. Feed on the weak and the crashing debris from dragon boss are the only dangerous abilites in the whole dungeon.

Maw and COS are both very good too, if you have an organized team w/ good AOE the only real problem in COS is the DPS check on last boss

Doesnt nightmare bolt 1shot people though? How do you prevent that with comps that dont have a lot of self cds and a holy priest.

Wowhead says that nightmare bolt maxes @2.066m damage for level 10 tyrannical and 2.4m for level 12 while i have 2.6m health as a DPS w/ DPS trinkets and stamina flask

I've done him once on +10 as healer and twice on +11 as tank, never noticed anyone dropping below 20% hp after nightmare bolt. And it never overlapped with feed on the weak for me. So it was rather easily healable.

The Timer for Maw is a bit tigher than DHT though I feel, and the boss encounters feel more difficult, Helya on +12 can kill dps/healers so easily and it's a pretty long fight too. Can't speak for CoS as I only run pugs, and they obviously suck at CoS.
Nelth's Lair is rather doable as well with a good healer. This is all for tyrannical of course. I don't know what to think about next week's affixes, teeming skittish fortified sounds like a nightmare on certain trash packs.

Helya on +12 can kill dps/healers so easily

it's almost all avoidable damage, if you know every mechanic from running it 100 times it's not particularly threatening

If Shade of Xav gets any explosion to buff him (and let's be honest, he will get some buffs from the ground explosions in 2nd phase, because he will stand still while casting some abilities), then nightmare bolt definately starts 1 hitting people with tyrannical high m+. If you have a class that doesn't have an awesome immunity/cd to use on it, they will go splat. Feed on the Weak is healable with quick reaction and personal cds, but there's little you can do when you outright get 1 hit by a nightmare bolt.

you can always get meleed by a spawning destructor tentacle or fall into a freshly spawned whole in the floor though. I agree it's mostly avoidable but there is a lot more going on than in other encounters, making it easier to miss one of her abilities.

Problem with Frost Mage is that it has no niche. Arcane is good single target and Fire covers cleave/aoe.
