To be fair it was a bit stupid for jewel slots to be worth >20 ilvl For low stat items like rings and bracers they could edge out a 15ilvl upgrade. For something like a chest, they were better than +5 but worse than +10. Nerfing that by 40% is very aggressive. Gems are always good at the start of an expansion, after that they maintain a constant value while gear and warforging becomes stronger. I don't agree with the extent of the nerf (it makes them actually underpowered compared to ilvl or warforged) and i 1000x do not agree with the method Would be especially shitty if I vendored the higher item lvl gear without sockets. we did | ||

Btw what is the Legendary drop rate? Like any idea what % of highly active players (that did all mythic, ambassador quests etc) got one already? Seen a handful of people with them but they're rare enough to run all of the emissaries and 100+ dungeons and never see a drop, let alone get one yourself | ||

the whole artifact power and nightfallen rep has me fairly exhausted, i dont think i can handle even one alt right now. ive hopped some wow streams and some people cycle 4+ chars, repeating all the world quests and suramar quests, holy crap. Ill just hope my monk healer isnt gonna be useless, no safety net. | ||

A offspec leg could simply make you not get a main spec legendary if it reset the legendary safeguard. Oh and im a bit behind in discussion, about the golden talents monks seem to be weird ones. MW prefers some other talents first (to be fair those 2 could as well be golden), WW ignores one i think and Brew master straight up doesnt even want 2 or 3 of the golden talents. One is a tiny TINY damage increase, one is like 10% doge for ONE SECOND and one is just more immortality on your immortality cooldown. BTW has anyone played with brewmaster tanks, i legit havent seen a single one in any dungeon i healed. No idea if good or terrible. | ||

I'm thinking about doing some heroics as BM even though I have very little tanking experience. At this point I know the dungeons pretty well and I'm overgeared so it shouldn't be too bad. I think a good tank can be more helpful for farming than a good healer so I'd like to be able to tank. After I get Dancing Mists, I'm gonna get 13 BM traits and try it. edit: But yeah, for MW my first three priorities were Mists of Life (the Life Cocoon one -- not golden but very nice), The Mists of Sheilun (golden trait, really nice too), and Dancing Mists (not golden, and should be better for raiding than 5 mans, but I think this'll be great too). | ||

I main WW but am playing brewmaster to help my guild get more groups into mythics dungeons, and I'm doing fine. We're probably the weakeast tank but you can still do everything with it. No issues. Brew is still very good at countering big spike damage and being sturdy in all situations, but requires a bit more constant healing than other tanks. Probably the most complex tank to play tho, The Ironskin brew / Purify brew choices are pretty punishing if done badly. | ||

On the leveling experience, i hated the questing to level when i did it in my 24 hour stint, however now i am to at the point where im leveling an alt easy and fun doing the quests with a mate (6 hours in and 108 (60% into 109)) and it's easy. But i am too not looking for getting to 110 to have to do the Nightfallen crap again. However knowing that outside of getting a specific rep you don't really need to excessively do world quests, only the ones for specific Gear or if u want to farm some quick AP. Im at the stage on my warrior where i just pick and choose 2-3 world quests a day for 600+ AP or mass resources to keep me stocked up. Then the gear quests which are at max 3 it seems. So i will get 110 on my shaman, finish Artifacts focus on class campaign and casually stroll around Suramar getting Nightfallen up. Will also be getting boosted through mythics on it tonight too :D | ||
