That addressing the roleplay aspect, on the flip side those phrases are really just being dismissive of Gen's point of view and to say that your idea is better. Especially because these happen frequently or almost exclusively with Gen as well, it is as if you're attacking her or (if accepting roleplay) her character. Even if it's not about personal attacks against Gen, personal attacks against her character are not conducive to good roleplay dynamics either. If you are going to roleplay a mean or aggressive character, it still has to function within the group in some way that represent a respect for those that you travel with. TL;DR; No one wants to travel with a "whiney bitch" (Not as mean as it sounds) | ||

Now I'm sitting here, the clock hit 5am already and a part of me still hopes this is an incredibly bad joke. I'm sure this wasn't handled the best way and I hope you guys can sleep a night about it and have a talk tomorrow to clear this situation up. You, JP, Gen, Neal and Ryan have created something from nothing. Something thousands of people don't want to miss anymore. Sure it'd end some day, many people thought the end of Rollplay D&D was the end of it, but that ending at least was an ending worth living through. What happened today is just not worth to be the end of something that amazing. If it ends up to be the end of the groups D&D journey, then it has to be that way. One can not force people to work // play together. It would just be the saddest ending to this journey one could possibly imagine. Best regards, Borsti | ||

I'm a fan of Geoff as well and is sad by this, but please don't call JP out on being a hypocrite. He was definitely very impulsive when he cancelled the show, but he did the right thing. He just did it in a REALLY bad way. | ||

Most people have faults when rping. Some people are to passive, some people take too much time, some people are too focused ton details, some people cant help to metagame all the time. Some people cant abide to be weak, some people cant abide to work with the other character 100%.. rule lawers.. i could go on for a while. Part of what make a good rping group is accepting other peoples bad habbits and have a good time anyway. You have a good group, HAVE, no HAD. Work it out, i have been playing DnD or VtM and other games.. Every Friday, for the past.. 15 years. it IS worth it to to at least try. | ||

First off for JP to COMPLETELY 100% remove you from the show is a dumb idea. The show won't be the same if you're not there Geoff and I know for a fact that thousands, literally, will not be watching if you're not part of it. I could understand taking you off it for the time being or canceling the show to work shit out, but completely removing you is downright wrong. Second, both Geoff and JP are in the wrong in many ways here. First JP should not have said when he ended the stream "I had to kick Geoff the show". He should have ended it saying that there was some technical difficulty or something other then "I had to kick Geoff off the show". Thats just asking for drama. Geoff, as much as I understand how you think posting this thread is going to help people understand or help you vent your feelings this whole thread is a bad idea. This thread is just inviting people to hate on JP or bitch about something. Its just going to fuel the fire. JP definitely should have brought the whole bullying thing up before just kicking you off. JP should have asked Gen if she felt as if she was being attacked by Geoff and then let Gen and Geoff work it out. If JP felt like he was being attacked HE should have brought it up with Geoff, just like Geoff said in his post. But the bottom line is this post is a very bad idea and is not going to help anything calm down. This whole thing is incredibly blown out of proportion and I think that both JP and Geoff handled things poorly. There are many more reasons that I have that I could use as support for my argument, but these are the main things that I think are the most important. This show is literally thousands of peoples favorite shows on twitch and if it ends just because of a stupid fight would be very disappointing. What would be even more sad is if a good friendship like Geoffs and JP's, a friendship that brings thousands of people enjoyment and laughter, ended over such a dumb fight. | ||
