while i agree. His "good" character Vincent was still a dick to abigael, and now his bad character just so happens to pick out jens character to be a dick too. However if jen doesn't haev a issue with it, it's fine...and inter party conflict like this is common. In a game of mine i was a paladin and there was a inquistor who had a opposing gods...so when we battle back and forth at the end of the session or after a "arguement" we always made sure we were still cool. It seems like this was handled wrongly

The entire point of Banon was to be an evil douche and the entire point of Victarion was to be an antisocial meaner guy than Vincent. This is ridiculous.

You have always been a dick to Gen, whether it was with body language, or words. Gen is always visibly effected to the point where she can't even have fun and role play how she wants. The fact that you haven't even apologized in your mopey bullshit post here speaks loudly about you.

You have always wanted to talk down to Gen and JP has INFACT yelled at you before. He has told you before to stop yelling at Gen and let her roleplay how she wants.. In fact, he actually said "shut the fuck up, geoff. let gen play how she wants". You remember the shut the fuck up part, but not the part that you whine about never being told.

Stop playing the fucking victim, you're a grown ass man. You caused this shit by being a dick to Gen, and you haven't even apologized, just tried to play victim.

Also for the "JP is allowed to be a jerk". JP is not a very funny guy, and when he tries to be funny, he laughs at himself. He never once said something out of the ordinary rude in his roleplaying without laughing or smiling afterwards. When you called her a whiney bitch, you had the most serious look on your face, right before realizing what you did, then you got kind of worried. That is not roleplaying, that is letting emotion take control but having a solid backup playing claiming it as roleplaying.

I acknowledge that I am mean to gen from time to time. I apologized to her as I didn't know it was hurting her feelings. I am not saying this to absolve myself of it but rather to express my sincere apologies for doing that. My point is however I genuinely had no idea it was becoming an actual issue. You can believe that or not. I didn't know. Neither Gen or JP ever said anything about it to me. I pride myself on always striving to improve but I sometimes have no fucking idea that I am doing something wrong.. by going from 0 to boiled over I got blind sided. If you think that is me claiming to be the victim so be it. I am just trying to give perspective.

I feel like what you said was very in character, as both of the characters were guys, and sometimes, guys just talk to each other like that, it doesn't mean anything. What you said didn't seem to be in an insulting fashion at all. Also, after, on Ryan's stream, Gen seemed to completely not care about it.

Regardless of whatever your behavior is being labeled (I think the fact that many people were totally blind sided by this speaks to how the flagrancy of it is being blown out of proportion), the mishandling of the situation is way worse. It just won't be the same without you and will lose viewers. I think many of us are still holding out hope that the show can go on. Plz try and hug it out <3

Good god is it necessary to have a public fight over a role playing game? I think there are issues on both sides, most noteworthy of which being the fact that there is a little bit of being a drama queen on both of you.

People should be able to discuss things before it gets to this level.

I'm glad your post is more from a place of being hurt and feeling like you misread the situation, this would be a really easy situation to just throw up a post full of only blame and self confidence that you are in the right.

My opinion, as a fan who has watched every episode of Rollplay, is that you sleep on it or take the week and as you suggested that JP sit down and talk with you about what is and isn't acceptable as other shows he Rollplays on (R&D) have definite worse in character behavior.

I think JP overreacted, especially since he did not give you an opportunity to explain, but its his show and if he wants those sort of rules he can have them as long as he is clear what they are. You guys need to set firmer ground rules for playing it seems, but I hope you can continue with what is my favorite show in esports (ha) right now.
