In this case, however... did you honestly, truly not think you were being a dick to Gen too often and that it went too far? I mean, self-awareness is hard on any scale, but Jesus, man. Regardless, take a day to calm down and you bros talk it out. Keep the character and if you want to be mean, learn to be a mean person instead of somebody who is just mean to one person. I suppose I'm most surprised that somehow this particular argument was enough to collapse the show in on itself. You all need to take a nap or something. | ||

However, this was completely the wrong way to handle this. As you said, if JP had a problem he should've come to you and talked it through first. To just lash out like that, then kick you off / shut down the show comes across as very immature. Certainly not impressed with the way it was handled. Hopefully calmer heads prevail, but I think this has done a lot of damage to the perception of JP / the show... Take it easy, G. | ||

That being said, it was absolutely too much of a knee-jerk reaction, and the correct move was to stop for a few minutes, and come back to talk about it later. There's a difference between being kind of a dick in character, and singling people out regardless of character. With Vincent, it could seem to be in character, but to carry that attitude over to the new game was hard to argue it was in character. I suggest you both take some time off and go back later, and talk it over with each other individually after you sleep, or talk it over with Gen. TL;DR: JP was wrong to rage kick so quickly without talking it over, but you were wrong to be repeatedly mean to Gen in the same way every week. You both need to take time off and talk it over. | ||

Am I the only one that finds it... odd that this is all down to overreacting on a roleplaying game show? EDIT: I'd also like to point out that everyone on the show has been mean to Gen at one point or another, cept maybe Ryan? And everyone gets exasperated with her. She's clearly not an easy person to do this kind of thing with. This isn't said to excuse that she's abused, it's to say that everyone on that show has acted in an unprofessional and borderline mean way to her in the past. If it's been missed by any of the rest of the cast and this is the first time it's been brought up then that's a failure on the part of the entire cast (including Gen). Exploding like this randomly is silly by Geoff and JP. Geoff is right in that you don't just explode. JP is right in that you're not overly a douche. But it was handled fucking abysmally. | ||

Anyway - yes, Vincent was a d*ck to Abigail most of the series and at times it was *really* hard to distinguish Vincent being agressive to Abi and Geoff beinc agressive to Gen. It was over time I realised it was Vinc, but still it was noticable and brough up (somtimes) in discussion between fans of Rollplay DnD. The difference between You and JP is that with JP he convays it that its obviously non serious, but your characters tended to be serios guys. I hope this gets settled. Its not like the first time humans got into a conflict and I personally see you guys getting along again and continuing RP:Solumn with Victarian *and* Alice in the same group. Cheers! | ||
