Yanoukovich has been deposed by the parliament and is thus not a president anymore. Yanoukovich, during his press conference yesterday, has explicitely stated he didn't want military help. I am not 100% but haven't a lot of members of President's party left Kiev, so basically half of the Ukraine wasn't represented or was represented in a very limited capacity when those decisions were made?

He was democratically appointed president who was overthrown by revolutionaries. Like it or not, he is still the legitimate president of Ukraine. You honestly believe any president anywhere was democratically elected? How much Kool-aid have you been drinking? huh? Elections are for show, governments choose who their leaders will be. Its been that way for thousands of years. oh ok.

I don't think Ukraine government should worry about Crimea ( it is all but gone ), they made many silly mistakes when they came to power antagonizing Russian - Ukrainians. Their problems are much bigger than that, right now there are protests all over Eastern Ukraine, people taking down Ukrainian flags putting Russian flags up. Western Ukraine cannot survive without the East alone, all the factories, all the production, most the economy is in the East. If they can't control it, they won't stay in power.
