Having Seltzer as a hostess is already incredible, she must have one of the thickest skins in all of ESPORTS. I doubt another woman will want to be a caster in this community.

The other thing is that there is the club of casters that is incredible hard to become part of. Don't know when people talked about this anymore (derailed pretty quickly and was a mostly nonsense anyway). But there was some truth in it, as in most main events just use the super popular casters. Think it got better though and we saw a few more casters rise to fame lately. So we might even see a female caster emerge that builds up a dynamic with some male casters. Because people love dual casters in sync the most.

She didn't pose for some nudie mag. She posed for a Maxim gamer girl feature (iirc). It wasn't racy at all.

And OGN and GOM both have 1 female caster for proleague/gstl, and as stated before, there have been female casters for english gom casts.

It is a fun event rarely done by Mori09 of the mystarcraft.de community and actually really hard, as not only the german language is influenced heavily by english, also for the game a ton of english vocabulary is used, from unit names over stuff like "cheese" and "snowballing" up to "expand", "natural", "game" and many more. This time the cast is only organized by Mori09, the ones doing the cast will be two austrians (yeah, the same country and accent as Monchi), one caster is "cRY" and the other one "Becci" from "Beccis Playground". She is a girl, and about to cast some SC2 action (and she is not the first woman to cast/cohost a cast alongside Mori). It is not like there would be no girl at all casting, but those who do cast do so for fun and only when they feel like, not for a year every evening out of their basement hoping to eventually get picked up by a big event. Watching this atm: She is not a fantastic example of a knowledgeble female caster really. But I guess this is just for a laugh anyways.

I haven't heard from her since. To be honest, dota fans act like that to anyone who suck the slightly. Triumph also gets insane amounts of hate, Lumi, ayesse, even tobiwan.

Maxim isn't Playboy and that's a pretty bad example. She should have never been hired in the first place and the fault rests on GOM not so much her. It's not much of a deterrent compared to everything else they would have to deal with and I see many women doing just fine. From Soe, Anna, Rachelle, Susie, Sjokz, Smix, Sheever, etc. The list goes on. No matter what you will have to deal with some bullshit along the way whether you stream, post, etc. It comes with the territory. Likewise, regardless of your gender you will be targeted no matter what. We hear casters say a lot of dumb things and they're called out on it regularly. They just don't have to deal with the sexiest and other immature comments. You learn very early on to block that crap out because it is irrelevant.

Generalizing things to men/women is just BS, because that tends to prevent people from doing things they enjoy (women doing "men" things, men doing "women" things). Not even noting "unealthy", "antisocial" as qualifiers for esports, which is incredibly wrong (haha, Nada's body !)

And I wouldn't try bringing up 'but they could be play-by-play if they have a good voice!' because we all know if the girl isn't masters, people are going to call her an attention whore, no matter how good her play-by-play is. Since you honestly asked how you could find more, however, the ones that are worth it are usually going to be found like finding a good male up-and-comer, because they won't tweet 'GIRL CASTIN XOXO'. So pretty much a) by chance and b) you are actively searching for a new caster to like. But already some people have mentioned good ones here, so. Personally, I'd suggest Zepph, who might've been who you heard on basetrade.
