I've lived in AZ my entire life and I don't believe Joe can win anymore, especially in a Senate race. If he some how gets the GOP nomination, I think dems should fully fund that race. I think it'd be quiet a steal for democrats.

Thanks for exposing all this pretense that it's something more that calls for the 25th amendment to be used. If you think that man is mentally fit to be commander in chief I question your concern for the country's security.

The entire idea of Bannon not being alt-right enough for the modern political climate is just hilarious. We are watching the birthing stages of a legitimately extremist wing of our country. I don't think we are quite at that point yet, but it is fascinating to see how once a group is mildly racidalized, it can become self-sustaining. It's just another example of the same thing we see in fringe groups within BLM. If you find a group of people who feel they've been walked all over and forgotten, then give them a message that makes them feel powerful, they'll take that shit to an extreme you never thought of. Once again, humanity cleaning up after the weak and forgotten.

I think that Arpaio would beat Chemtrail Kelli if he campaigns hard and is serious about actually running. Arpaio has name recognition on a level that she doesn't and a lot of conservatives are attracted to Arpaio's image as law-and-order and tough on on immigration. (Yes, I know that Arpaio has violated court orders against him. I'm not talking about his actions, I'm talking about his image.) I can definitely see Arpaio winning the R primary. I cannot see him ever winning a Senate seat. Arizona is regarded as a fairly purple state, and Democrats have won in super red states like Alabama in 2017 special elections. So the national environment is bad for him, and Arpaio's closeness to Trump means that Arpaio will be strongly affected by that national environment in a general election. Plus, a figure as polarizing as Arpaio is bound to drive turnout from Democrat voters who are voting for "not Arpaio." There is just no way that he wins the general. tl;dr: Arpaio is quite possibly going to be Arizona's Roy Moore, if he seriously tries to get elected. Definitely going to follow in Roy Moore's footsteps if he wins the R primary.

Kinda begs the question "Wait, why did you pardon him but don't support him for senator?"

The kind of alt-right factions that became more vocal during 2016 still represent a new movement without clear leaders (maybe Trump, but Trump doesn’t agree with Trump) or manifestos. I’m watching with interest to see if it dies like BLM.

That's part of what gives them influence and makes them a faction. What do you mean by "Trump doesn't agree with Trump?"

Disaffected conservatives, actual white nationalists (alt-Reich), trade protectionists, America-first foreign policy, isolationists, cultural reactionaries, and the list goes on. Some overlap. Some are from the politically disinterested except for dissatisfaction with the status quo. Ever hear of Trump changing on a previous position?

I guess if we go with Danglars there is no BLM anymore so it should be past tense. I honestly don't see any reason to do what you're doing in that paragraph.
