I get told "slippery" jokes by my 10 year old nephew. I know the US is prude as hell, but lets be realistic. I'm the first one to condemn anything Trump says because he's the biggest moron the world has ever seen, but it gets old really quick if you jump on everything he says. I wonder if in your immense outrage in regards to that particular statement ever wondered what kind of jokes those kids crack when they're not observed by adults. In this case, Trump really isn't that out of place considering he has the temper and metal capabilities of a 12 year old. edit: @above, Jeffrey Epstein i guess you meant?

I don't really see artificial outrage in the thread because Trump said one or two things that weren't PG to 11 year olds. Most of these boys go to church where they're taught not to have sex outside of marriage. I think it is predominantly Christian but I wouldn't say it is a Christian entity, or at least not in recent years. It supposedly requires belief in a higher power of some type, but allows pretty much all religions in. What are you talking about?

But of all things Trump could say, this hardly registers. While being a Christian organization, it also consists primarily of teen males. This is nothing. Though the Mormon groups can be a little stricter.

They can come, but it's not their event. Also if they are too young they won't get what Trump is saying. With "interesting life" i thought he meant hookers and blow, or something, or generally orgies. Not paedophilia. edit @Nevuk

It sometimes comes up because to be an Eagle scout you need a letter of recommendation from a religious figure but I skirted that by simply using a brother at my high school at the time. I assume that the rules for Eagle scouts are fairly universal so it probably comes up a little nationwide but nothing to hindering but this was about a decade ago so it might have radically changed.

Mine as well; it was just fun and interesting and inclusive, since our den leader was a nice guy. But I do wish they would change the formal rules/ code regarding exclusivity.
