Maybe Assad will break them out again in like 2 years when Trump is looking super weak, see if he can get the missile count up to 120.

Now you are praising Trump for not even asking As a certain infamous person once said "In Vietnam, they didn't put him in a prison, but into a hole in the ground. That is where he spent many years, and as any man would have, that is where he left his mind."

Then he wanted to be President and he had it removed to gain party approval. He used to be a bridge builder, back when he could trick democrats into thinking he would help them later on.

The degree of Trumpian hypocrisy will depend on how much more Trump does.

It's just a (relatively) small scale response to the use of chemical weapons, as a warning that he can't do that again. But we will have to wait and see the follow-up I guess. It's the kind of retaliation that leaves you thankful that it wasn't worse, but also leaves you wondering whether it was really a good idea to do that.

Not much to debate there.

The question now is how do Syria\Russia\Iraq respond? This is certainly an act of war against Assad. Israel has been bombing Syrian strongholds for ages. I wouldn't worry about it.

The EU isn't going to do shit. The US isn't doing to declare war. This is it. 60 kinda meh warheads that we can launch of a politically safe distance as an empty airfield. Maybe Assad will break them out again in like 2 years when Trump is looking super weak, see if he can get the missile count up to 120. How do you figure it was an empty airfield? Probably had Russian equipment there at minimum. Regardless this exactly what Hillary wanted/wants and what Obama did put to Republicans in 2013, what happens next though is anyone's guess. Putin is going to look like a little bitch to Trump if he does nothing though.

Yeah, attacking other governments with no congressional authorization is totally a thing you should just do. Its cool and wouldn't end with the Republicans whining about abuse of executive power. The House Republicans are a group of bitches and wouldn't even authorize a single airstrike. And now they are going to praise Trump for doing the thing they would have voted down in 2013.
