You can't have the black president taking on ruthless dictators and getting big wins. Don't you think that always characterizing the ineptitude of Congress under Obama as if it is a racial thing is kind of part of the problem with regards to polarization and so forth? I mean, they're certainly not looking like they're doing any better under Trump...

Sounds like you do it once, and then there won't be any air attacks for the next couple of years. Assad's position is shaky at best and Russia had not yet reinforced Syria to the degree it has now. There was a window of opportunity during that time that nobody used, instead everybody prolonged the proxy war through rebel support . Which did exactly nothing but create a never-ending stream of dead and refugees.

I believe there is a statistically significant number of congress men and women that have issues with a black president. It is not the majority, but it is enough for me to mock. Congress sucks and has sucked for a long time now.

But there is no magic "take out air force" move you do in a week and then there won't be any air force left.

"THE OFFICIALS SAID MR. BRENNAN ALSO INDICATED THAT UNNAMED ADVISERS TO MR. TRUMP MIGHT BE WORKING WITH THE RUSSIANS to interfere in the election. The F.B.I. and two congressional committees are now investigating that claim, focusing on possible communications and financial dealings between Russian affiliates and a handful of former advisers to Mr. Trump. So far, no proof of collusion has emerged PUBLICLY." LOL. Drippity drip...

Should he have gotten authorization? Of course. Obama asked for it. They didn't give it. But why ask for approval to attack another government when you can just launch some missiles that might do something.

Number updated to 60 and they flew low over Russian radar and antiaircraft sites. So they were seen and reported instantly obviously.
