Just ask my dad who watches only cnn he will explain to me he is absoulutely convinced russia and trump worked togheter in the election and it will soon be discovered. He is also convinced of a bunch of other things cnn accuses trump off without evidence

considering the FBI director literally just said that there is an investigation, this comment could have been timed better.

I mean we know that Manafort was paid by the Russians and lied about it, that Flynn was coordinating with Russian intelligence and discussing ending sanctions with them and lied about it, that Tillerson is an official recipient of Putin's Friend of Russia medal, that Sessions was meeting with Russian intelligence during the campaign and lied about it, that Jared Kushner met with Russian intelligence, that Carter Page met with Russian intelligence, is an investor in Gazprom and Rosneft, and that Trump himself speaks extremely highly of Putin and attempted to grant recognition of the annexation of Crimea without receiving anything in return.

Frankly I can't really understand why this would even be news, much less the heavily anticipated announcement it was. Would be hard to imagine that there wouldn't be an investigation.

This guy (Himes) needs to learn to properly pronounce shit in Russian. Same with everyone else for that matter.
Comey is lawyering pretty hard. Reasonably given this is an ongoing investigation but still he isn't saying all that much.

Congressional hearings are a lot of theater and some substance. No one should expect Comey to do anything that would be vaguely close to breaking the law. If he is blindsided by a question, he won’t answer it under pressure. That isn’t how you get the job he has.

iirc most of the federal money that goes to CPB actually goes towards funding rural NPR/ PBS. so there is a certain political benefit for republicans to cutt off NPR and PBS to those areas.
