The more aggressive, out of control and generally Trump-like Trump gets the more unpopular he gets. If that's his plan then Hillary basically just needs to show up and make general policy sounding noises to appear presidential while Donald makes a buffoon out of himself.

I wonder if Trump will actually try to focus on policy tonight.
Attack Hillary will not work, He is going to have to defend himself a lot and needs something to draw attention away. I expect him to focus a lot on his policies (in sofar as they exist) to draw the fight away from his persona.

Reports are up it was because they feared Trump suing them. The Post broke it instead, because they report the news, not entertainment. Broadcast news is completely toothless at this point.
Edit: I'm really enjoying the delusion Trump being more aggressive will somehow earn him undecided votes. There are not many demographics he can insult at this point. He got all of them.

The way for Trump to do some real damage would have been to present his 'out there' ideas in a presidential manner. Going full buffoon does nothing but focus the attention on him and his flaws instead of whichever subjects help his case.

Carson? Come on. Bush maybe, he appeared to be able to play the game well enough to appeal to the middle but there were some crazies in there. Carson and his pyramids weren't getting elected.

The real loser in all of this, is Bernie. He started a movement and sold out and lost to the very thing he was fighting against. Trump doesn't give a shit if he loses, he's still rich and is going to go into retirement, or start a new media empire. Bernie will be forgotten as a sellout, if he didn't endorse HRC though he would have been remembered.
