As for the debate, Tim Kaine is meh, but I think it's clear that Pence already has his sights on post election reputation lol

From a moral perspective or whatever it might not quite square with pro-life positions, but there's no logistical problem in not punishing women that receive abortions. We can make laws and/or amendments for anything. I guess my original point was that people used the punishing women angle to make it seem like he was a dumbass and he was jumping to an illogical conclusion. In all actuality not punishing the women would be illogical and there are a million and one other examples of trump being a dumbass that people could call him out on.

And third, he loves dictators. He has a personal Mount Rushmore of Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, and Saddam Hussein. He believes — Donald Trump believes that the world will be safer if more nations have nuclear weapons. He said Saudi Arabia should get them, Japan should get them, and Korea should get them." - T. I don't think "illegal = punishment" works with abortion, for reasons of humanity. Trump was a dumbass for not knowing that's the common position. It's what happens when a TV candidate blathers about governance.

As for his age, he is 7 years younger than Bernie, who was extremely popular with white, educated young people.

From my considerable liberal point of view, he has exact the same problems as Hillary: I think he means well and is competent, but has absolutely no charisma and has doesn't suffer fools.

Because anyone following women's rights issues knows that conservative states are already punishing women now even with Roe v Wade in play. Prison terms for miscarriages, forced procedures, removal of doctors who support them, etc... The removal of Roe v Wade would turn the current attacks on women into a full on jihad.

I'm afraid we will read the same thing about Hillary in 15 years if she loses. People will be wondering how the hell people were stupid enough to believe all that media bashing she is subjected to.
