Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump faced off at their first presidential debate Monday. Who do you think won? Hillary Clinton 40 % Donald Trump 60 % 706k people reported voting
I am so shocked, either Donald Trump must have a botting server doing this for him, or I am closer to Satan, than the average person that supports Donald Trump.
Yep, I agree with that guy... There was at many times that I saw missed opportunities. If you put my brain in Trump's body, but I was still in my room peacefully watching, I think I could have attacked and done a lot more damage than that.
The rambling without getting to any punchlines was so frustrating to watch.
From the second he said "Secretary Hillary Clinton, it's okay if I call you that? I want us all to be happy"... Just the way he said... It was all downhill from there imo. The Hillary fans have plenty of reason to celebrate today.
This debate just distilled and exposed Donald Trump for what he is - a candidate who is not serious. Hillary's "I planned" line says it all. Ultimately, Trump's TV shtick could not withstand a real debate requiring him to speak on substance and rebut arguments for 90 minutes. His pettiness, his bait grabbing, just prove that he's not serious. Hillary said one thing about his wealth and debt, and he went out of his way to talk about it. Hillary baited Trump into rambling down in the weeds about non-issues. Her strategy was to turn and stare at him while he failed at talking at length on precise topics, thereby exposing himself as empty.
It was said that she prepared for two Donald Trumps - one who was freewheeling and rally-esque, and one who was presidential and disciplined. They got the former, and she brought out the response and one-liners needed.
She overcame her lack of charisma by letting Trump talk aimlessly and take up time. Then she got in effective hits like "well to talk about some important issues he briefly touched on..." followed by some bare minimum of sustained intelligent commentary.
Trump was baited and then Hillary had prepared responses to his response to the bait. Hillary does have a brilliant team IMO.
The world of irony: imagine Hillary's email and foundation scandals against a candidate without decade long dirty business practice and proper economic knowledge and 9 times out of 10 she won't stand a chance.
People who sincerely root for Hillary make me wonder whether they understand how grateful they should really be to Donald Trump or not.

I think Jeb could have taken it, for all the hate his own base seem to have for him. They'd still support him over Hillary. More debates before this is over though. Still two more fucking months of elections.

Why on earth would he say that his strongest asset is his temperament.
The polls are like 65-35 for Hillary on temperament for President. If that's his strongest asset, then what is even his weakest... So many of his responses were so... Bad.
From where I'm standing, this should be in the bag, even though ideologically, I agree with a lot on Trump. Not sure what the 2nd and 3rd debate can do, since I think with proper preparation and good points, he could easily run circles around Hillary, after seeing what she brought, but that's just me.

Less than a month and a half, it's coming to a close soon (finally I'll have some more time)
Senate votes on Wednesday on overriding Obamas veto on the 9/11 victims bill after it easily passed both houses a few weeks ago.Could be a big deal especially with Saudi threatening to sell treasury bonds if it is passed.

Trump's scandals are quantifiably much, much, much worse than Hillary's.
Republican nominee Donald J. Trump complained in the spin room that his debate mic wasn't working right, according to a video posted by a CBS journalist.
"They gave me a defective mic!" he told reporters. "[I] wonder, was that on purpose?"
It wasn't the first time Trump suggested he was given a faulty microphone. At a January rally in Pensacola, Florida, he abruptly stopped mid-speech and said, "And by the way, I don't like this mic." He went on to call whoever installed it a "son of a b-----", and said, "George, don't pay him! I believe in paying, but when someone does a bad job, like this stupid mic, you shouldn't pay the bill."
In the debate, Clinton accused Trump of not paying several workers for their services. Trump did not dispute that, saying, "Maybe he didn't do a good job and I was unsatisfied with his work."
Trump has also said if he loses the election it's because the system is "rigged" against him.

This is the man that will hound after anyone saying he has small hands.
The man can't stand anyone claiming he's inadequate at anything.
