Gold is the investors safe haven so it should rise for a Trump potus and fall for a Hilary, atleast according to some experts.

It's already up around 26% this year.
What does that say about the financial situation?
I think it's going up no matter who gets in.

John Oliver did a piece about the Foundation and Email scandals which shows there is nothing there which should disqualify her. And she did release her health records and tax returns. There is nothing about Hillary Clinton which is a secret, only right-wing insinuations that she is hiding something. (is Hillary a robot from other space??)

We'll see, it's only a few weeks now until Julian Assange releases his "October Surprise" mega-batch of emails.
This stuff is apparently far more incriminating than the last stuff he put out.
Gonna be fireworks!

Hillary Clinton is maybe not charismatic, but you can make a case that she is the most qualified, most honest and most transparent candidate in recent history. Obama and Sanders endorsed her, she has the full support of the democratic party.

Hatred of HRC is 95% a consequence of right-wing smear campaigns and various types of sexist undercurrents in America. Viewed objectively she is a normal candidate, a normal politician, better than most and with many accomplishments throughout her life, plus the bonus factor of being potentially the first female president.

Trump is an unabashedly sexist and racist cretin, literally a threat to world civilization. His ascendency is a total disgrace.

Please don't equate these two in any way. .

Gotta love this holier-than-though attitude. People like you are just as much to blame for Trump as right wing white supremacists are.

"Sexist undercurrent" and "right wing smear", you have to be joking. There's a lot of objectionable shit about Hillary and the Clinton foundation, lots of reasonable concerns that she's just bullshitting.

Please read this article which demonstrates what everyone already knows: people support the far right because they are racists and because they feel loss of status compared to minorities (see the whining about political correctness). It's not because of the left alienating people, it's because mainstream politicians can not abandon commitment to tolerance and modern governance to cater to white nationalists. And since no good deed goes unpunished they get called out of touch because of it.

By the way, I don't know what you tried to imply, but sexism does exist in the USA and affects how people perceive Clinton. For instance, female authority is rejected. (example)

And there is a long history of right wing smears against Clinton. (some examples here)

I might be misunderstanding you here: Are you implying that all of Trumps supporters are racists?

Being racist correlates to supporting Trump and supporting the European populist parties. You can draw your own conclusions, but in my view Clinton wasn't wrong when she called half of Trump supporters "deplorable".

It just blows me away how incompetent trump is. He set the bar so low he had to basically show up and smile and he would of came out ok and he still fucks it up. Hillary is being judged to presidential elect standards and this debate shows why. I mean if you are going to blow off prep for a 90 min debate what makes you think you are going to do any less running the most powerful country in the world.

Pretty much my impression too. I had (have) to work today, so couldn't stay up for the debate, but the exerpts I saw now are quite impressive. All he had to do was show he could manage to not behave like a toddler for 90 minutes. And even that was too much to ask. All that interrupting when he was having his own quotes thrown back at him was pathetic.

You can't belittle and browbeat people into voting for a particular candidate or outcome.
Brexit should have shown you that.

You can't belittle and browbeat people into voting for a particular candidate or outcome.
Brexit should have shown you that.
The more you do it the more you push fence sitters towards Trump.

This is the typical threat that I see all the time: don't call out racism because then people will vote for racists. I don't think that makes sense. People vote for racists because they are racist, but they don't want to admit this to themselves so they come up with byzantine rationalizations and tales of injured pride or anti-establishment votes or whatnot. And it serves as a useful threat to control the perimeters of the debate, don't call out the elephant in the room and pretend to ignore that these parties serve the interests of a racist base that cares about some form of white nationalism.
Well, now I tell you, I never seen good come o' goodness yet. Him as strikes first is my fancy; dead men don't bite; them's my views--amen, so be it.

I'm specifically asking you to expand on your statements because I don't want to jump to conclusions...

Now you are stating that being racist (assumption: being racists towards non-whites) correlates to supporting Trump - which is likely true. However, I hope you can see the difference between this, and claiming that everyone who supports Trump are racist (which the initial post I responded to implied). So perhaps you can understand my confusion here?

Seeing as how biased the moderator was Trump did fine, made both Clinton and the mod look like fools. Clinton got really desperate with her character assassination attempts and Trump just deflected with turning them into policy driven answers.

All in all Clinton has no chance against a non-biased moderator. Looking forward to the next debates.

edit: Not to mention Clinton wearing that earpiece.

I sense sarcasm.

I HOPE it's sarcasm...

No. It's zeo. He believes Hillary is a body-double robot sent by the Reptilians to further the Illuminati goals. Or something.

I though Trump looked like shit. He is literally unable to answer a question.

As a first-time viewer, I also found the entire debate deplorable. Just a bunch of name calling and emotionally charged drivel. Polimarketing reality TV... if this is what wins elections in the Golden Age of the West, we are all fucked

Gold is the investors safe haven so it should rise for a Trump potus and fall for a Hilary, atleast according to some experts.

It's already up around 26% this year.
What does that say about the financial situation?
I think it's going up no matter who gets in.

Of course you do, it's basically what you do here. Predict the world will end and the gold price will go up. At least you have returned to your core task. Based on your latest string of coherent posts I was afraid you'd gone sane or something, but glad to see we're back to business as usual

Doesn't bother me mate - I've made over 20k on gold mining stocks this year.
Most small caps have doubled or tripled since January.
