You really just don't get it. No question Bernie would get more of Hillary's votes than Hillary will get of Bernie's. Strictly from a strategic point of view it's the smarter choice.

right, you know why? id vote for bernie if he won because i understand whats at stake here.

Exactly. We won't. It's up to you all if you want to choose to lose or not.

I mean like 82% of bernie supporters already have switched, so as Silverman said, you're being ridiculous. On the bright side most of Bernies actual supporters will vote Clinton, and the lunatic fringe will vote for Stein or not at all like they always will.

The best part is Bernie is talking right to him and he gives zero fucks.

Thats the thing about cults of personality, at some point even the guy its based around stop passing the ideology check

The campaign was never about Bernie as he and I and most of his supporters have said. He's gotta do what he's gotta do and we gotta do what we gotta do.

The top three DNC speakers of the night were undoubtedly Michelle Obama, Bernie Sanders, and Cory Booker. And instead of a scandal or appeal to Satan, *this* is the most important moment of the first night of the DNC. So, so, so different from the RNC, to replace fear with hope, and hate with inspiration.

Credit to Bernie for stepping down/endorsing in exchange for policies. (as opposed to doing it for a position as others might)

I'd say he emphasized pretty strongly the I importance of voting for Clinton as a part of his movement

Yeah but people like you that he drew in aren't normally democratic voters anyways. The nature of the two party system is that both parties have to go to the center in order to win national elections, even if it loses them some of the fringes. The GOP has a legit problem that they're pandering so hard to the extreme right that its starting to drive their moderates to the libertarians or even democrats. The DMC is being very careful to not do the same.

Any one of Michelle Obama, Bernie, Booker or Warren would destroy Trump in a general election. It's so sad this year, the only democrat Trump can beat is Hilary. And the only republican she can beat is probably Trump...

That's tough! I'm going with Obama > Sanders > Booker > Warren imo.

Well they didn't attack his religious beliefs. That was an email of a bad idea that never was put into action. And the only way he gets his progressive platform is if Clinton wins. He gets nothing under Trump.

I liked how Bernie laid out so many policies in this speech, and I like a lot of those policies.

As much as I hope that they can be implemented as decent laws later, I'm cynical that they'll end up bloated, watered down, or straight up rejected in Congress and forgotten.
