From last year:
CHICAGO (WLS) -- The ABC7 I-Team looked into ISIS terrorists in the United States- not just a smattering of potentially violent radicals, but terrorists present in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan and all 50 states.
In less than two years, ISIS has gone from a terror start-up overseas to what FBI Director James Comey calls a "chaotic spider web" in the US, with young Muslim men being radicalized in Illinois and the 49 other states. Comey suggests ISIS uses social media like a job fair. That's how he says terrorists snagged three New York men facing ISIS charges.
"Those people exist in every state. I have homegrown violent extremist investigations in every single state. Until a few weeks ago there was 49 states. Alaska had none which I couldn't quite figure out. But Alaska has now joined the group so we have investigations of people in various stages of radicalizing in all 50 states," Comey said.

...well, nobody died. The convention has already exceeded my expectations in that regard.

Stuff like this always feels meaningless because it serves the person well to just lie about it. We have no evidence, she benefits from the story, and we just kinds talk about it anyway.

They are so devoid of ideas and any concept of earnest hope, they can't even find the words. So they steal them from their opponents, whom they claim have nothing to offer.
And they are dumb enough to to think we won't notice. Or they just don't care.

Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst dramatized the threat posed by ISIS during the Republican National Convention Monday, but she also appeared to exaggerate the spread of followers of the Islamic State group on U.S. soil.
"According to the FBI, ISIS is present in all 50 states. Think about that for a moment. Terrorists from ISIS are in every one of our 50 states," Ernst said.
Ernst's comments appeared to be based on statements FBI Director James Comey made in February 2015, when he announced that the FBI was then pursuing radicalization investigations in all 50 states, with Alaska just added to the list.
However, the FBI chief did not state that people in all 50 states had been confirmed to be ISIS followers, rather that probes had been opened into that possibility.
In addition, while Ernst referred to those under investigation as "from" ISIS, the FBI has yet to assert that any attack or planned attack in the U.S. was directed by the terror group holding territory in Syria and Iraq.
"Those people exist in every state," Comey told the National Association of Attorney General. "Until a few weeks ago there was 49 states. Alaska had none which I couldn't quite figure out. But Alaska has now joined the group so we have investigations of people in various stages of radicalizing in all 50 states."
...and Trump's wife plagiarized Michelle Obama. Not above it all after all.

Someone is getting extremely fired. Making a fool of Trump's wife is probably a "so long and good riddance".

I mean, of course she says that. Is she not supposed to? A speech writer's job is to write a speech for someone perfectly so that there is no reason to second guess anything. The speechwriter failed.
Whether she said she wrote it or not, the person who actually wrote it is getting fired.

I always keep coming back to Trump being a Clinton plant. It has to be right? This kind of stuff doesn't repeatedly happen unless its all some prank gone too far, right? It just gets too impossible to believe at some point.

Pretty sure if you can find this same idea in a good proportion of the presidential candidate and first lady speech in any country it is just some realy bland an easy thing you have to said. There are professional paid to right those speech and they wrote a bunch of them of course they all kind of sound the same, they know what catchphrase work the best.
It would be way harder to actually take Michelle Obama speech and try to copy it by changing some word then to just write that kind of bland statement. Seem likes just a coincidence to me.
Anyway it's not like it was of any importance.

Yes, I'm sure the people in this thread were just being nitpicky.
