I know Shillary is Calculating and Corrupt, so we should assume the worst. But I think you should reconsider those assumptions. Just because it is HRC doesn't mean she can't respond with a 3 word response in 5 minutes. Trump stepped right into that one.

I don't even think Hillary uses that twitter it's her campaign staff that runs it. And it's not really 'stepping into it' when it's literally something you could respond to anything he said with. There wasn't really anything clever about the timing r context of it (in fact she/herstaff just set herself up with the 'deleted' keyword and emails), it was more just the content that people found entertaining.

My objection is to the assumptions. Everyone here just swallows all bad assumptions about HRC here without establishing anything. You don't get to make nasty inferences for free. Well, large judgments like this rarely ever stand up on appeal, but Gawker pursued highly suspect legal strategies (if legal strategies were a person, this one would be a smugger, more reckless, Dr. House). Then there also was this: Harder: (Hogan's Attny): “Can you imagine a situation where a celebrity sex tape would not be newsworthy?” Daulerio (Gawker EIC): “If they were a child.” Harder: “Under what age?” Daulerio:“Four.”

Hi, as I asked xDaunt (without much success to my great surprise), can you back up with facts your claim that Clinton is corrupt? Please provide evidence or just don't say it.

I'm not sure how 'Trump stepped in that one'. When a 12 year old tells you to delete starcraft/dota/counter-strike did you really get 'owned'? People are really grasping at straws here. Yeah, its not as humorless as the whole Drumpf thing but its a sad state of affairs when something like this is considered even passable banter.

I don't want billionaires trying to go the using the Thiel plan of trying to bankrupt whatever publication bothers them. The New Yorker had a good article on why we shouldn't be cheering this attack on gawker, no matter how shitty they are. http://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/how-peter-thiels-gawker-battle-could-open-a-war-against-the-press

Hitchens on Clinton: + Show Spoiler + https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qE8PG2mpo58 It's interesting to hear that an argument was: "Well look, do you want Dan Quayle as president?!" Which is similar to "Well look, do you want Trump as president?!"

It wasn't a signed tweet, and no, Hillary is not well known for her off-the-cuff spontaneity, especially on the internet. It would take longer than 5 minutes for someone to even get a hold of her and report "New Trump shitpost, ma'am, what course shall we take?" It's something obviously the campaign had in the pipe.

Considering that joke was made by Jimmy Fallon in his 'Thank you card' section with Obama I'm going to go with 'Bad stolen joke'.
