I just think all his ideas are bad and am willing to explain why if someone wants me to. but yeah, don't think there are a lot of Cruz supporters in this thread. I suppose I should have restated my earlier statement of ted cruz is a moron to something like "I think all of ted cruz's ideas and rational are terrible" when you say "our policies come straight from the creator" I'm going to have a problem with it

I wouldn't mind hearing arguments about what he says being bad (I can contribute on several topics to this myself), but my point was that you can't do that without engaging with the substance of what he's saying. And if you don't, you're no better than the populists themselves Edit: Karis, I'm not actually asking you to do so now. Let's focus on the polls for now.

No matter. I won't wade in, I'd rather read and laugh.

His joy in being obstructionist. The stories about him staying late to gleefully denying death penalty appeals while being a supreme court clerk. Him calling the leader of his party in the Senate a lair on the senate floor. The former Republican president Bush dislikes him and has said so publicly. I've been watching politics for two decades and I have never seen an entire party so untied behind a single purpose, to hate Ted Cruz. I have a lot of patience for the current Republican party and its voodoo economic theories, but no one who is that hated by their own party should be leader of this country. And I also disagree with all his policies, social, military and economic on top of him being a huge asshole that no one likes. I would need to dig deep, but the man will say anything to get elected. He is loathed by this own party and that isn't someone who should be in the White House. The office is for a leader who can work with others, not the Cruz plan of shutting down the government when he doesn't' get his way.
