Proxy pooped out, was my first GOP show. I'm pretty convinced that i didn't see a future president there. edit: Yeah, maybe. It's just, after watching this "stuff" for like 45 minutes or so now, i get even less how people can cheer for anything they say. Literally 90% of that is either complete bullshit, or an answer to a question that wasn't even asked. | ||

I think the main argument the U.N. and Muslims in general have brought is that just declaring you're a caliphate isn't enough, the caliphate needs to actually be supported by the entire Muslim community. This is what separates the historical ones from the ones history does not really regard as caliphates. Like, if I declared my house a caliphate, it wouldn't be a caliphate. | ||

A caliphate kind of needs to be ruled by a caliph. While al-Baghdadi claims to be a caliph, that claim kind of falls apart when the vast majority of Muslims refuse to acknowledge his legitimacy. | ||
