I agree on rob should start a countdown though, doesn't even have to be 10 secs, I'd be fine with any kind of countdown.

HD's video just reinforced the "no carrier no buy" feel I have towards HOTS. Too bad though, because widow mines and the mothership core looks great. Dunno how it is for actually playing the game, but this video from HD seemed MUCH better than anything PvT can offer in WoL right now - at least from a spectator PoV.

Yes storms etc. are easier to use in star 2, but no average player can land the storms of a pro gamer. Just because the game got easier in comparison doesn't mean it's an easy game, same goes for the skill gap. I can land the storms of a progamer. With ease. It's not that hard. The hard part is doing good storms while macroing perfectly.

Most other companies would have probably released a beta start date like half a year ago and bundles another game from the same publisher with a beta key. With blizz you just get soon into very soon into beta. I agree on rob should start a countdown though, doesn't even have to be 10 secs, I'd be fine with any kind of countdown. I'm actually not too fond of dates because those function as deadlines. Bad deadlines have actually ruined several games, and damaged many more. I really don't care about a release date as long as it turns out to be a good game.

The announcement was over a week ago, and it was "very soon".

Yep have to admit I enjoyed the beginning with the mines and the recall. However, after 15 min when tempests came out and it became warhounds amove vs colossus amove with tempests tickling the PF, I just...facepalmed repetitively
