If not, then MB is totally in the wrong. That'd be like JP paying for a player to come out and do a face to face interview for "Real Talk" and then putting a "Cost Donations" box up after the fact. That player was just as much a part of the show as JP and he would be completely in the wrong for seeking another source of revenue using that players name.

The SC2 community is really bad when it comes to trying to grow the industry, as so many of them are spolit little kids that think they know best. When lol first came out it was completely shit on and hated by this community, even though it was just increasing the esport community. This is a massive step up for maximusblack. He already puts alot into the community with vods and such, and now if hes getting paid more which i assume he is, hes only gonna put more back in. Who cares if hes not the best player? all the kids who are higher ranked them him and beat him on ladder are just jealous about it, and cant seem to get over themselves to wish him luck or whatever. Also, all the people saying that they 'watch him recently' and his play hasnt improved might as welll leave now. Desrow isnt the best player, but his coaching of Jeff has made such a difference. The people who say it hasnt obviously havent wathced him stream much, if at all. Gratz jeff, with all the work you put in you definitely deserve this. Best of luck Bouse

It's the "friends" who apparently got in his head & made him think he was getting ripped off. Before that he was fine with everything, & why shouldn't he have been. He made a deal, he did his job poorly & still got paid in full + extra + publicity. Then his friends get into his heaad (maybe jealous of him or MB) & make him go back to MB & ask for more. The worst part (imo) is that he went to the CSN thing & tried to get MB into trouble. That's just a bullshit thing to do whichever ay you look at it. Even if Desrow would be in the right about getting 50/50, there is no excuse for going to someones employer & trying to get them in trouble. That's like if someone sold you a pc, then a couple of weeks later (after talking to friends) comes back & says you owe him more money, & when you don't pay he tries to get you fired from your job. Desrow not gonna be making any fans from this bit of drama. I doubt it makes him more attractive to teams/teammates. Anyways, love your stream man! Keep it up ![]()

I'm not seeing what is immoral about that. Isn't that how businesses operate? And its not like Maximus Black was using DesRow's fame to make money. This is DesRow we are talking about after all, if anything DesRow got more popular after doing the bootcamp. And if you aren't aware, MB regularly gets donations (every day, in fact. People sometimes donate 50 bucks just to get a song played on stream. The only strange thing about this whole event is that DesRow feels that he deserves more. (The fact that DesRow is including the money made from advertisements in his calculations, as if he didn't know that MB would be streaming it ahead of time, makes him look even shadier. Really disappointing, and I hope he apologizes and, more importantly, learns a lesson about contracts and business.)

The donation paid off desrow's trip. That's part of his pay, because he didnt spendm oney to travel. The rest went to maximusblack for mlg. It was clearly stated and written. Desrow commented on multiple donations on stream, but didn't make any hint torwads him thinking he should get some, and he didn't have a problem until he "talked with friends" which is common for him either deciding he wants more or actually getting duped by someone who didn't understand the situation. Obviously we have to wait on desrow's response before we can make any further assumptions, but so far there is nothing that gives desrow any legitimacy to what he claimed. If Des was aware of the donations before the agreed upon rate, then he has no claim to anything and owes MB an apology. However, if MB snuck it in afterwards, then he should owe des a certain percentage. Wording doesn't really matter, he was using Desrows name and presence in order to get donations. edit: confusing wording o_O

The donation box was clearly worded, desrow's pay and promises were fulfilled, and maximus earned money from the stream he hosted. Desrow wasn't hosting the stream, maximusblack was. Desrow put his information in to the chat every 2 minutes, so if anyone wanted to donate specifically to him they could.

Best of luck Bouse I watched his stream for what, maybe an hour? hour and a half? His play was the same shit it was before. Also why would people be jealous? Is it because of the money? I can safely assume there are a lot of people here who make more money than he does. I can also safely assume there are a lot of people here who could beat MB in a showmatch. Are we supposed to be jealous of his fanbase or something? I'm missing the connection.
