Westbrook thought the clock reset and went back to 24 Let me spell this out to you clearly, because you somehow are still not getting what I'm saying. Scott Brooks and his assistant coaches told the players who were going to be on the floor for the jump ball that if Miami gets it back, there will be 5 seconds on the clock. They then made sure every player saw the shotclock had 5 seconds. Floor reporters confirmed it. ESPN was all over it the morning after. Westbrook took the blame himself because he misunderstood the situation when no one else did. You are making stuff up to blame Scott Brooks who is, at worst, and above average coach. And even still, this all stems from you saying Miami got lucky and stole a title, when, even if Westbrook does not make that mistake, they've got 12 seconds or less to score 3 points to tie it, which is a less than 30% chance (because setting up an open 3 is not likely with 12 seconds or less, so you can't go by their averages). Then you assume Miami can't score again or can't win in Overtime and this is in ONE GAME of a 4-1 championship. I hate you so much right now aaaaaaaaaaargh. I give up arguing with you about the eastern conference crap and the refs rigging it and I get drawn in by you blaming your own team INCORRECTLY for why the team lost and just shoot me in the face please.

What pity? OKC missed there shots and Scott Brooks made some decisions. If Phill comes back it going to be close to his home in Montana and Scott Brooks turned down a contract. Really? The clock doesn't reset to 5 until Miami wins the jump so it stays at 1.7 or w/e it was. As far as refs Fisher 1 flagrant foul 0 technical in his career and league president, thats just one. Blaming Scottt Brooks damn right he made some terrible errors in the finals same for James Harded

It's set to 5 so that the shot clock operator can instantly start it if miami gets possession. If OKC gets it it gets turned off because there's only 17 seconds left in the game. The clock that the players look at was at 5. You seriously have no idea what you're talking about. There's literally 0 reason for it to be at 0.4 seconds, and there was none, and it wasn't. Stop making things up. Here is the proof in the top left corner of this video: Shut up.

Gotta remember Dirk didn't have anyone like the calibre of Wade and/or Bosh playing with him last year.

I think he struggled playing out of position with his D. He really prefers being that help/weakside defender working with Perkins, but with Battier playing PF and shooting so well he was dragged away from the pain. And given Miami didn't much of a low-down presence, Perkins didn't play much significant time. Perkins and him work so well together but Miami's rotations forced them apart.

I do think that ibaka on offense is as important as harden though, and both just sat back and let westbrook and kd carry them. did you predict a miami blowout?? :p you should be a betting man.
