Regardless of any racist connotations that orb intended or did not intend to convey, regardless of whether any individual poster's personal morality allows or does not allow for the use of words like this on a daily basis - what it comes down to is that many people still view it as a racial slur. (Compare the "chink in their armor" debacle from ESPN recently). Long story short, orb, as a public figure (especially now that he was working with EG), has a responsibility to hold himself to a higher standard of behaviour than he would have to if he were a private figure. Regardless of whether he was on his account or whether it was someone else playing - something I will refrain from commenting on at this time - it's still orb's responsibility to make sure that a public account maintains a good image, as he is, like it or not, representing the community.

He didn't lie. He told the truth about his first situation and now people are digging things up from months ago and he has said that these were him and that he has made a commitment to curb his behaviour moving forward now that he has gotten a job as a caster for EG. Why are we all feeding these flames and pulling out pitchforks?
