Awesome decision by GOM.

I don't frankly give 2 cents about someone throwing away a game that doesn't mean squat but I really like that there are others than us westerns out there that take shit like this as unprofessional and disrespectful and do not tolerate it.

This is the reason right here why Koreans > rest of the world in SC2.

Discipline, hard work and professionalism.

My hat off to you mr Chae.

All this talk about good manners and shit and they say something like that.

Yeah. Since when can tournaments decide who they invite or uninvite. I think we need the ACLU up in here.

and your a moron...... People pay money to see good games. naniwa bitch en and mooning about how bad he is vs Koreans to the point that HE THROWS AWAY A MATCH. is unreasonable. in no sport does someone throw a game away because they have nothing to lose that when they try to say hey im going of with a win and naniwa took what could of been a gg vs neastea especially with what happened earlier. and to be honest naniwa is scared of nestea thats why he threw the game away. He knew neastea had something build for him and he wasn't going to be able to handle it.

Thats it. I will not stand by foolish decision based on reaction of crowd and twitter posts from ppl like Choya.
Losing in a game apparently it is bad mannered - then whole Code S is just a sham not a professional tourney.
From now on im gonna stick to watching MLG IPL or NASL since they are all more normal than strange Korean interpretations of rules.
Gom also won my support. I can see that Mr. Chae is serious about some standards of professionalism. If you play a televised game, you cannot throw it this way and mock the efforts of the crew, the opponent, and esports.
You don't choose to play zerg. The zerg choose you.

Worker rushing like that when everyone knows that drones are better than probes in a straight up fight is really damn offending to the zerg. I'm 100% in support of Gom doing this. Sure, people will hate me, but Nani did something really stupid. If zerg did something like this to terran to try and harass then i'd be fine with it because drones heal, but scvs do not.

tl;dr: Naniwa deserves punishment, but maybe this is too severe. People saying gom is a joke are pretty damned stupid. Almost as dumb as CoCa for throwing that game.
I play protoss because it's imbalanced. :D

ye i think they have a strong mentality regarding such behaviors but - the punishment is just WAY to harsh. He is (he said this many times) absolutely committed to Code S. It's just another case and they shouldn't punish one think with a totally other issue.

GW Gom! None wants to watch players throw their games, if you are gonna cry like a little bitch then let someone else who actually wants to play take your spot instead of ruining it for everyone.

There must be a middle ground between no action and banning. Its called a damn warning or fine.

Stupid decision; from a Naniwa-hater.

Calling a player a amateur prize money hunter and using a vague rulebook, which allows you to basically ban every player you don't like. Indeed very professional.

I think all Naniwa fans supporting Nani in this specific situation need to do this in the future: Next time your boss or professor assigns you something to do, just say "No, that's dumb." and then refuse to do it. Let me know how it goes.

This. This whole mess wouldnt have happened if GOM just warned him/fined him, tell him not to do such a thing again, while changing the format for the next Blizzard cup or w/e.

This was a correct decision. Living in Norway, I think I can relate a bit, because I think it would be likewise if it was here. Some nations values respect and professionality a lot more. When you do something that is competitive, the least thing you could do is to not disgrace professional level of competitive gaming. I do not judge Naniwa as much as GOM did. as, unlike other Scandinavian countries, Swedes are a bit more liberated and loose (as in not caring too much about what you say or do). In my opinion this also applies to Americans.

And how do you know if a game is thrown away super late in the game or really early? And you can not expect naniwa to play his super best strategy vs nestea in non important match.

I can understand why naniwa did that and i can understand koreans why they are angry, but this is going just way to far.
